Happy new engine cover day! We’re finally here! Mamma Ford has bestowed us with new engine covers straight from her teet for sky high jacked up prices! Comes with a new letter (-C) and a new price tag but don’t worry it’s “discounted”.

*Also, I’ve seen it mentioned that the TSB for getting a free one has been been pulled so don’t go pouring water on your plugs outside the dealership yet.

It would be funny if the new one is actually made of OEM plastic, but then everyone complains because it no longer muffles engine sounds anymore.

But I can't hear my engine. All I hear is the roar of a v8 from the entertainment system. I bet it's bigger to protect the spark plug recesses from water.

I have a 22 XLT which of course does not have the cover.

do I really need it? During rain and after washing my truck I look at the spark plug area and don’t have a water issue.
