Off topic, but what do you think of the new Vintage Broncos?

Personally, I think they're great. I like that the fact they're basically admitting that classic designs never die. I expect even if you have the $$$ then getting hold of one will be challenging.

I like them alot, I just like my Ranger and the bed more. Only a 2.5 years of payments left and it's all mine..we tried to buy a small 4 door Bronco for my wide but couldn't find the package and color we wanted during the peak of the chip shortage, ended up finding her a Lincoln mkx for what the dealer had in it and got over payoff for her Fusion, nicer car, same miles, same year and with low rates a lower payment too. Plus with her working from home we haven't put many miles on it. I really like that new metallic dark green paint on.the Big Bronco. My old one was a 1990 Eddie Bauer deep regatta blue and tan. Had it 17 years

Just read on the Bronco6g site that Bronco orders with hardtop, sasquatch or lux pkg are now not going to be filled for the rest of 2023. Guess that means the odds of ordering a 2024 2 door hardtop just tanked if the unfilled 21, 22 and 23 orders get transformed to 24 orders.

This really makes me curious how the 6g Ranger launch will go. Maybe I'll just buy stock in popcorn and watch it unfold.

Ya know if there was ever a class on how NOT to launch one of the most sought after vehicles Ford would win! There's NO excuses for any of this ( OK maybe the Lux pkg) as they knew after 25 years this was going to be a huge hit.

I've been following this auction site Bring A Trailer for the past month now. There's been a lot of Broncos going up for auction that either are NOT selling because they didn't make the reserve (most reserves were msrp) or selling at msrp. The other day there was a nice brand new 35 miles 2dr Cyber Orange Wildtrax and the highest bid was only $57K and the sticker was $61K. Even some of the BRaptors were getting msrp of not much over. The novelty has worn off and with these higher interest rates these dealers/owners are now going to have to face reality that they're not sitting on a gold mine anymore.

Probably just my issue... but I hate even seeing the Escape unibody grocery getter have a Bronco name on it.

I think the Red & White one is cool but the other colors don't do much for me.

I thought this was pretty good looking too, general opinion on here in the old thread was it was hideous though lol. I dunno I pictured taking the roof off and playing beach boys with a boogie board in the back (I can't surf).

I was kind of thinking these heritage models should have been what they offered on the original release. They make the 'normal' Bronco look drab.
None of them are heritage enough for me. I was hoping for metal floor, dash, and roof and not full of electronic gizmos.
God, I'm such an old man lol. I've turned into my father ?.

Your seasoned, not always a bad thing. I love cars from the 60s and I probably wasn't even swimming around waiting to be shot into a sock yet.

That was the main reason I wanted 2dr Bronco. They were very close to looking like the old vintage ones I never got a chance to own. Looks like I still won't get a chance seeing as it's been 3+ years since my reservation and still nothing. Oh well on to the next new toy. Oh look....A Ranger Raptor! ?

EDIT : Just noticed that JASONTREMOR had posted this on Friday . I guess it's good that I didn't see that or I would have been pissed the whole weekend :(

We probably will never see our 2Dr Broncos. It looks like my prediction of not getting one before the price protection runs out is coming true . Hell , what are we supposed to do since we can't drop the Mic top ?

Honestly Benny I've stopped being mad and lost all excitement over this Bronco. While I'd still love one I'm about to move on and try and get a Ranger Raptor. Check out my post right above and look at the Bring a trailer link. There's been some new Broncos on that going for msrp so you might be able to find one there.

I'm in a 6 person PM on B6G and everyone there is mad to say the least. We're all Granger customers and I'm still very high on the list, last count I'm at #406. Honesty it looks like Ford is doing this to phase out as many old orders as possible so they don't have to price protect them. Now if I could get a 2dr with a soft top I "might" consider that. Being out here that would be ideal but it wouldn't be the best for resale or if we move to an area that gets a colder winter than here.

For roughly the last 8 months I have seen Broncos on dealer lots, 2 dr and 4 dr. and in various models and at MSRP. I saw 12 on one lot last summer. Those that are still holding out are after a particular Top or are waiting in-line like @AzScorpion because the deal was good. Yes, I know all the shenanigans too, as we have been watching since the announcement.

If you want one, you can get one. The Bronco isn't "that" special, but if you want to order one and get a particular "goodie" then your probably waiting'.

Some people just want to B!tch and Gripe, (not you Dave @AzScorpion) and after a few years, it is getting old. The way I see it, you either find a way to get one you can use, or move on. Holding on to your Beef with Ford isn't the healthiest.

On another note, I see more Rivian's than Bronco's when I get out and about. Talking about giving away money, or for a Tesla that is a little cheaper than it was last month.

No problem Jason I get what you're saying. The deal I had with Granger is for invoice pricing and an additional $2,000 off at 2020 pricing. So my 2dr Badlands with the High package was $46,000. Sure I can find (and have seen many) for msrp but they're roughly $6K-$7K more because they're not price protected either. For me I just wanted one for a toy (I don't need one) and the way Ford handled all this is what I think many are complaining about.

I realize you can't have everything right away and I was willing to wait a "reasonable" amount of time. I lose interest in things pretty fast but now 3+ years after reserving one and now they're coming out and basically saying a 2dr is now a constraint? Ford knew in late 2020 how many 2dr orders they had and now they're just trying to force people into something they don't want or cancel all together which is most likely what I'm going to do. Maybe I'll scratch that itch somewhere down the road when they come out with a PHEV Bronco.

I get ya. Some abused it and made it a big to do, and ruined it for those that signed up day 1, and then the Top mess. Ford made decisions that affected us all and probably moving forward with other cars/trucks down the road. We're all going to be ordering one when we want a new ride. The lot will be for display / test drive only.

I talked my wife out of a PHEV Escape, as batteries were going boom boom, and getting the Bronco. Our dealer really helped us out, plus we threaded a needle (about a 12 hr window) as we were originally scheduled Jan 24, 2022 and bumped to Jan 31. Ours was just heading in the door when they shut down for the chip shortage that week in Feb. last year. So it went in mid Feb. So we missed Dirt Mountain and paused for the Chip shortage instead of being built and parked.

Hoping you pull a Raptor Ranger out, looks exciting. I've been looking at a Lincoln Corsair to trade my Transit Connect in on for my company. I'm at 93K and kinda want a Hybrid version and not cost $57k.

We are such an immediate gratification culture aren't we? and the internet helps too.

Good luck keeping a white top, white wheels, a white dash, and a white grille clean.

I was excited about the heritage edition until I saw a dirty one and good lord did my enthusiasm die. Also kind of down on the Bronco color palate overall after the killing of Cyber Orange.
Its easier then keeping a black top, black wheels, a black dash, and a black grille clean.
