Yes that was my thought to the other member ( Stevensc) who commented above.
I have to give forscan another try so I can change that bat % and bleed the ABS, the first time after dwnld I wasn’t able to open it up on my laptop. IDK what happened.
My ForScan knowledge and ability is very limited. But U'd bet you could get some help in the ForScan thread.

Most of my other vehicles I would get a Die Hard Battery at Sears. OOPS no more Sears. My stock battery is still good. Purchased my truck in September 2020. We usually don't have super hot weather here in Oregon except last year in June of 110+ for a week.
Thanks for all the tips on battery maintenance and use!

Still on the OEM Ranger battery at 2 years old.
My recent vehicles that needed batteries all had the OEM battery replaced at about 4 years here in Oregon. (2x Subarus, 1x Honda). The other vehicles were traded in less at than 4 years old with the OEM batteries (1x Subaru, 1x Mazda). I replace the batteries when I notice engine starting is taking longer than normal, or turning over slower. This is more apparent during cold weather.

i started a new thread on my battery issues so others could know if they have problems and i could get more direct feedback, i also thought it more appropriate then here on this 'How long did your battery last' thread .

Are you pretty much driving it daily? ( mine sits for a week or so frequently).
The date code shows mine as 40 months old.

For those mentioning the parasitic draw, another option is a solar battery maintainer of some kind, if you drive enough outside or park outside.
On my topper i have a 1x4 ft 100W flexible solar panel that charges the battery as needed, through an MPPT solar charge controller. (100W is overkill for just topping off the main battery, but it's used for other things too). I've never had to worry about hooking up the battery to a mainter, which is convenient.
Hi, thanks for providing this information to us. Can you let me know if the latest model of the ranger having the rv solar panel is coming models? If not then which vehicle providing this facility?
How much distance (Kilometers) your vehicle can cover with this 100W rv solar panel charging?

Bought mine new in December 2019.

Battery had to be replaced earlier this year.

Everything still worked but the ASS stopped working which is kind of the Canary in the Coal Mine for the battery on these.

I'm in GA so not really a hot climate, but I also primarily drive short trips of 10 minutes or less.
These are the same symptoms that I am seeing right now. I’m glad I saw this thread because I’m going in for an oil change and will have them take a look at the battery while they’re at it. Auto start stop quit working a few months back. Through a battery charger on it and it started working fine, so I guess there’s my sign…?

Mine sat a few days without being driven, it started up fine but the ASS didn't work for a few days (I enjoyed that, I can't stand the ASS and usually turn it off) But after a while I guess the battery got fully charged, and ASS working.
My Ranger was bought new in Oct 2019, about 52,000 miles.

Purchased my 2020 Ranger XLT on 04/24/20, looks as if vehicle had been on the lot since sometime in March per the VA. state inspection sticker. About 7 weeks of warranty left and less than than 100 miles left. Almost 3 yrs old, no battery issues, no warranty problems, never been in for dealer service. I feel lucky so far, maybe not so next week when I go over 36k miles. A/S/S eliminator installed within months of purchase. Mostly stock truck, mainly comfort mods, damper, bed rug and MX4 cover, vinyl letters front rear and dash, screen protector on touch screen, rear seat cover for Aussie dog, full size spare wheel and tire, and Bilsten 5100 shocks front and rear.
