My OE battery is still working, it's a 2019 put in service 9/19 .
Well not anymore, :(after 3 1/2 weeks sitting in my garage I went to move it out to the driveway and as soon as I opened the door i didn’t get the ‘light show’ and thought oh this is not good lol.

I didn’t leave any accessories on not that it should matter with the battery saver timer, I usually hook it up to my Battery Tender but i didn’t the last time I parked it.
I have it hooked up now although I don’t think it has enough juice (2.5 Amps ) to bring it back from dead my regular battery charger is at my moms house not with me at my house. I’ll see in the morning, I have a second vehicle so I’m not stranded ?
I just looked at Costco web site and haven’t purchased a battery in many years due to frequent flipping into something new and boy have these things gotten expensive.

I charged the battery back to life using a Battery Tender @2.5 Amps it took over 20 hours apparently it wasn't completely dead because i didn't loose any radio presets,. i had a reading of 13.4 volts on my multimeter when finished charging i then drove it and did a couple starts and no issues, and just finished a 90 mile ride back north to my moms house.
I'm going to keep it on a tender when not in use, and am also going to check for parasitic drain cause i don't understand how it could drain down in 3 weeks time, unless the 70% charge limit may be part of the problem.

Just replaced mine last week. Purchased my 2019 in July of 2019. Wow, I was shocked by how much battery prices have shot up. I spent $240 for a five year battery to replace the dead OEM.

There's a lot of parasitic drain with all the tech now. My OEM battery only lasted 18 months and was replaced under warranty. Since then I added a maintainer and hook it up if it's going to sit longer than 2 days. This way it'll always be topped off and most of my commutes are short ones so it never gets a chance to fully charge.

One good thing about Costco is they will replace the battery right up to the last month of warranty. They don't check them or pro rate them so there's no charge. The heat here kills these batteries and so many here just bring them back and get a new one right before the warranty ends.

I always forget to price shop the wholesale clubs since I don't have a membership. I can borrow a car if I find a deal. I got 4 Michelin tires for my fusion mounted balanced out the door for under $400 at Sam's club when I stopped there with my brother. They had a hundred bucks off store sale, a instant $100 rebate from Michelin (not a gift card style, cash off the price) an free mounting an balancing that weekend. Living alone I don't really need a membership an my new employer sends me there for office stuff all the time with their card.

Yes mine is staying on the maintainer whenever not in use parked in the driveway or garage, and I'll parodically check with the multimeter what the fully charged volts are.
I'm really shocked at the prices AutoZone & Advance were both well over $200 but then they have those % off coupons at checkout.

Bought mine Oct 29, 2019. It is still working fine. About 53k miles, I usually shut off the ASS function first thing if that matters.
When you say shut off the ASS you mean after startup and you headout? I wouldn't think that matters, (BTW i do the same) this issue was my neglect, i should have connected the tender, i was in a rush and also didn't think i would be away not using the truck, if i had it on the tender this wouldn't even be a discussion. :headbang:

For those mentioning the parasitic draw, another option is a solar battery maintainer of some kind, if you drive enough outside or park outside.
On my topper i have a 1x4 ft 100W flexible solar panel that charges the battery as needed, through an MPPT solar charge controller. (100W is overkill for just topping off the main battery, but it's used for other things too). I've never had to worry about hooking up the battery to a mainter, which is convenient.

As you are saying, I don't think shutting of ASS alone would matter.

If no changes were made via forscan the BMS would still only charge the battery to 70% regardless of what ASS is doing.

Yes that was my thought to the other member ( Stevensc) who commented above.
I have to give forscan another try so I can change that bat % and bleed the ABS, the first time after dwnld I wasn’t able to open it up on my laptop. IDK what happened.
