I wont do it myself otherwise!! Lol
You do know your paint has feelings too, right?

It would prefer you neglect it and just spray it with a garden hose without soap than use that recycled water on dirty brushes and blowers on it.

I'm only advocating for your paint.

These are the rubber style, "thermoplastic" rubber if we want to be technical.
Due to the slightly loose fit I wouldn't use plastic style.

I don't have any on hand, but I'd suggest applying silicone paste lube (not adhesive) prior to installation. Help keep it sealed.
Oh geez, glad I found this to go along with your rocker panel plugs (which I did get last week).

So ... another thing ordered ... =)

Being on country roads it gets muddy and dirty a lot. So its like driving up north in snow all the time. Except im in dirt and mud. And the thin paint doesn't help. So many chips on the paint from rocks :(

You could try doing a Ceramic coating on it. It's a lot tougher than most other waxes/sealants and should give you better protection from smaller stones hitting the paint. Yes, I can recommend other things than Graphene. ?

Did a few weeks ago but these

Can't believe these companies charge so much for these things (Got em on sale for $60, which is what they should retail for imo)
They fit nicely and stay put. I have the rear seat ones too in the SCAB.

When I put mine in, I left a crescent wrench under the driver side and spent nearly an hour looking for it. When I pulled off the mat, I kept saying "it can't be here:, but ... =D

I consider it detailing my interior when I pull out the driver side and beat it against a tire.

I also have zero patience for detailing but the graphene was a nice upgrade to wax (which I had last done like 25-30 years ago).

It went on easier than wax and buffed off easier too.

If it wasn't for the shine and smoothness of it, I'd have a hard time believing it's still there. Been about two months of outside parking and it's still there.

The ceramic looks like it could be a tougher coating but far too much work for me too.

Come spring, it'll be a pressure washer rinse, soap canon spray, quick one-bucket wipe, pressure washer rinse, leaf blower and quickie micro fiber dry, then graphene.

After that, I hope to just do a wash, rinse, and 3030 Graphene Speed Detailer on the drying step.

It's funny how such little things like these can give us joy. :giggle:?
Yep, it does put a smile on my face and help relive stress - maybe this can be a medical write off!

Thanks for letting me know about this! =D

I didn't actually do it, but I did dream where I painted the under hood and rocker panel plugs silver to match the paint.

Not sure if body-colored plugs would look good in reality or if it was just my dream.

Yes!!!
Just started to un-hole under the hood. Just need to get some 5/8" for the rest.
Also got the much sought after bumpers to properly support the hood when closed.
Already having a damper, now Truck is properly dampened, bumpered, and un-holed !!!
As an added bonus, these being rubber means extra detailing with 303 to preserve them.
