So i belong to a few other auto forums. One is the crv forum. The admin there is such a overbearing/controlling type that you cannot have any fun whatsoever there. it's a shame. he is constantly micromanaging every post looking for redundancy or anything out of line. It is too much like work there. So thank you to the admins here for keeping it light as we work through our issues/concerns/whatevers with our ford rangers...

CRV forum?

What do they talk about there?

One of our more popular thread titles is "Biggest tires no Lift?"

I'd imagine a popular one there to be...

"Most grocery bags without folding the seats?"

My guess the top threads are

"What did you get at Starbucks today"?

or

"How many kids can you fit with the 3rd seat folded down"? ?

For CRV drivers in this area, the hottest topic would be:

"How many drivers did you piss off today by camping in the left lane?"

"How to stop those damn kids from skateboarding down the sidewalk"

"Most efficient life path to karen-ism?"

"How to combat body odor smell while using natural deoderant?"

"Men, the scourge of the earth. My story about an ex"

All existing crv forum threads... probably.

Thanks Bill. One thing I always loved about this forum even before I was a Mod was how Rob and the others let things play out. Like you I've been on many forums where some are overly moderated and it takes the fun right out of them. I think this is the most fun forum I've ever been on and one of the most knowledgeable ones too. There's always someone willing to jump in and help and answer questions and of course help spend your money.? But after the initial problems been solved there's no telling where it's going to go.....? Damper?

I'm glad you brought it up. I'm a member of boat forum that has so much knowledge but I can't stand the tight shorts of the moderators and admins there. So, I only go there when I absolutely need something.

I have happily experienced the best 2 days of a boat owner's life:

The day I bought it and the day I sold it.

Though I confess that lately I have found myself skimming for a fish & ski

And then the wife will walk by and just say "No".

Boats for fishing.... pfft.

Spending all that money just so you can cast TOWARDS shore rather than away from it is just silly.
