So, someone like you could create letters that say, RANGER that I could use to cutout Matte vinyl on my cricut, to fill my RANGER when it arrives?

:)
Waiting stinks but is well worth it!

What color are ya thinking for the cutout?

Fo sho. Anything that already exists I'm happy to do on the house. Souper Duty was fun because I can make an O out of the lower left corner of the U so it only took me a few seconds because I've been doing this too long. Ok now I'm crying thanks guys.
Crying tears of envy for all the dump runs I do? Or crying tears of pain for the sore back it leads to?

LOL, thank you, you've made my afternoon and I have an ear-to-ear grin like a little kid! =)

clear matte - I got azure gray metallic so I think the slight difference will look fantastic.

Hahaha no, just crying at the realization of how long I've been making logos. I'm happy you're happy!

@Jhbryaniv - I'll measure up the letter sizes on my truck this eve and I'll tag you in my post when I create our R A N G E R graphic. I figure I'll make a new thread so it's search-able in the future. (Just incase someone does that.)

Our retirement plans include driving cross country in a motor home.... Specifically a class A and towing a jeep behind...

I am OK holding off until than to get one and using a ground tent. Even the idea of a rooftop tent doesn't sound appealing to me... Those gazelle hub tents that pop up and down are looking more appealing... We already have the 8 person screen room gazebo thing from them and it is fantastic, we probably use it in the backyard more that camping.
Nice plan (except the Jeep part, you know what you should be towing ...) but seriously, I work with someone who has lived in a 40 foot Class A for eight years now. He works remotely and his wife likes to pic up waitressing/hosting/bar tending gigs where they go. They have a cross country "loop" they do each year and have several places they stay at regularly. Then they mix it up between longer stops to explore.

They love it and they're both in the 50's.

Yours sounds like a great plan and a lot of fun!

the jeep is the compromise ;-)

an off-road capable vehicle that is smaller than my ranger (will be).

That sounds sort of exactly what we want to do - she works remotely 100%. . . depending on when the kid graduates high school and heads to college our timeline could push forward. . . who knows. . .

Yah, admittedly, the Jeep is a great choice. The places I could go in my old FJ40 (similar to the old CJ-5). You'll pound plenty of pavement in the Class A and really be able to enjoy a lot of the really fun stuff in a Jeep!

Wow, that's great news. I have a few dents from acorns! Surely those are less intense than a hail storm!

Very clever about the drive-in, although I'd have to have a chocolate malt, maybe a burger, some fries, .... =D
Sounds like a fair way to while away a hailstorm!

Hauled 3 full size bikes in the ranger today. I haul 2 all the time and a friend needed a lift so we thought we would see if we could make it work. It tight and not something I would want to do super often but it works. If was going to do it again I would want to make some solid links to replace the cable that holds the tail gate up.

Bike are each ~250lb. I think the rating on the tail gate is like 250. The bike are probably a little front heavy but I probably still went over that on the gate but didn't have any issues. Chill highway driving with a tiny bit of dirt road at the end.

Dragged my friend with his Willy's Wrangler to a local trail (only trail I could find, tbh) to try some wheeling. Videos and pictures didn't do justice to how gnarly the first part of the trail can be and we decided to not go too far in. But did some fun and got 1 picture of the truck with a wheel pretty much off the ground lol.

I also re-learned that when you go into 4-lo, traction and trail modes are practically useless since the truck turns off advancetrac. Only able to make headway when I was in 4-hi with trail modes on.
