What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Drove to forest to do some forest stuff.

Access "road"* is such a mud now that I think I'll walk there until ground freezes for now. Barely got out from there even with all the bells and whistles activated. Still room left for ground clearance, but the water logged clay just sticks to everything and tires are practically slick.

I had to get the back tire patched and found out the truck has spacers 1.5". I guess the previous owner got it to make it flush with the Tremor fender flares

some where around r5g i recall someone having damaged rear springs that had basically flattened out. not sure what happened but i think they were under warranty.

Yeah, get those springs looked at ASAP! They will break on these trucks.

Drove over to "Fill the Box" event for our local troops. Picture is 4 of the pallets we filled.

Drove in a hailstorm last night. Drove to a drive in at freddys under the order roof thing they have. Kept asking me what i wanted to order, told them i was sheltering from the hail! Lol. Truck was undamaged today in the sun. I was worried about the windshield. All is well. Dodges a bullet. It was marble size hail. About 3 or 4 minutes

Probably the jack. What do they look like sitting normally on the wheel on level ground?

Funny because we started out a while back looking a teardrops. Then when we get inside we think "well maybe something a little bit bigger" and before you know it we're looking at 5th wheels. lol

There were some really nice 5th wheels there and yes, they were very nice inside and I could defiantly see myself spending a few months traveling in one of those. But like you said with the $80K+ price tag and then needing a Super Duty to pull it that's to rich for me right now. For now we just keep looking and gathering more info so if/when the time is right we'll be that much closer to pulling the trigger.

Reply Sounds like us tent -hard floor folding camper-Jayco wind up camper- Jayco 17' off road caravan. I think we'll stop there for a while now, has everything we need for two people and Ranger can still tow it easily.

Yep into thunder and hail storm season here now, as I work an hour away from where the truck is parked at the railway station, I start looking at the live weather radar from about 2:00 PM every day.
