Got the exhaust on. One thing to note that didn't stand out to me, or my installer, for some reason. BUT, by default, the MBRP 3" single-exit exhaust setup is meant to pair with the STOCK downpipe, NOT a 3" downpipe. Or, at least, a downpipe with a 2.5" out.

My SPD was 3" all the way, so my installer had to cut off a couple of inches and weld on another 3" piece to get it fitting perfectly.

As far as my initial impression - it's loud. Maybe a lot more with the 3" downpipe. But, it seems like there's a fair amount of drone at 70-80mph. :/ Not sure I'm happy with it, but going to give it a few more weeks before I decide.

Running around town, it's fine. Sounds good on acceleration, then quiets out while cruising. It's just the higher RPM speeds that seems to cause it to drone and kind of drown out the nice stereo.
I have the MBRP 3" side exit exhaust with the stock down pipe. It is barely louder than stock and steady state cruising you don't hear it at all. Definitely no drone. If you find it to be loud it is because of the down pipe.

If you're really happy with the MBRP exhaust, something to consider is installing a aftermarket Resonator like a Vibrant Ultra Quiet 3" as close to the cat as possible or anywhere you can fit it before the muffler. It Should tone things down without restriction.
They make Resonators in 3" for your set-up.
Coming from experience
Good luck!
Are resonators for sounds only? Or will they negate any airflow gains from the exhaust?

They cut down on the noise. Straight through resonators have perforated cores with sound dampening stainless steel mesh and or fiberglass packing

Did it raise rise height in rear? Or make any issues with drive shaft angle vibrationS?
Raised the rear maybe a half inch?

No vibrations or driveline angle issues.

My detailed swap thread is linked above if you want to see the pics.

Good to know. Thanks guys. I'll talk to my installer about it. I like the rumble, but hate the drone (which as everyone has pointed out, is likely due to the 3" DP).

Before you do anything, and I don’t know if this is because of the tremor or it’s because of the towing bar/receiver/etc., but I’m pretty sure it was the MBRP and the guy had to in the tips downwards.

The only other option was Gibson and I’m pretty sure it was MBRP.

If you search around, you’ll find it I think.

I wouldn’t have been happy if that’s how it turned out for me it was notable.

Disclaimer: you never know the full story… Maybe he ran something different that changed the fitment.

I hate to make blankets statements, unless I know firsthand. But just be aware of that!

seriously, man! Doesn’t it just flat out rock?!

I wrote elsewhere that even with prior examples, my Borla asked tight is my favorite! It gives some burbles and pops, but not so many. I think a tuner will pull out a little more of it.

Then it’s the only cat back I’ve ever noticed. Actual power gained and recorded material mpg increase.

Those Borla tips look awesome.

I search the forum for "spintech" and this was the only hit, so I'll post here. I thought I would try some different for the exhaust than all the cat back options I've been seeing and hearing, so I had a Spin Tech Pro Street 6000 put on my '21 Tremor today. It's about half the size of the OEM muffler in each dimension, so some pipe was added to make up for the difference and offset.

It sounds very good, not loud, nice low tone and gurgle at start up and idle but smooth as OEM on the throttle. There's no drone or loudness in the cab, just a little louder than stock outside the cab, without sounding like an economy car or swarm of bees. Pop's Exhaust did a fantastic job with the custom fab work... experienced craftsman.
