Crazy turn of events going on across the nation. While the Mississippi River is getting lower Lake Mead has actually rose for the first time in the past 3 year. Still a long ways to go but better than going to opposite direction.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal said that from July 27, it rained every day. The lake has risen by 18 inches as of August 15, when its levels reached 1,042.29ft. In only 10 minutes, some places received over a half-an-inch of rain, the report said. The rainfall would either sink into the earth or flow down the Las Vegas Wash into Lake Mead, according to Southern Nevada Water Authority spokesperson Bronson Mack.

Could there be a covert program of weather modification in progress? Weather modification has been a military wet dream for years. Advanced, large scale weather modification would have built-in plausible deniability with about 80% of the population. (as we will probably soon see from the responses to this message...) But there are large scale commercial projects that "... changed the whole eco system of a country ..."
See the following link: https://www.weathertec-services.com/case.html

Last year there were uncharacteristic torrential rains for weeks in the Midwest. Potato harvest suffered greatly, and potatoes this year are terrible. This year, a drought.

Maybe things just happen, but what if they are engineered?

Just saw NOAA’s weather prediction for the NE today. Seasonally mild winter with more rain than anything else. That could be more ice than usual but not snow!

Sure as soon as I move away from there it's more mild and has stopped snowing!

True but at least you don't have to shovel it.

Not kidding. I got my Honda snowblower half apart in my garage doing my winter tuneup. Needed a few things replaced so better now than when it’s cold out. It will sit all winter as do nothing now. ??

Worse and more widespread in Europe, was on a Rhine cruise a few years back and at one low stretch had to disembark, change ships and go upstream several miles to a new ship. Bad for Europe because some countries rely on barges to supply lng and coal. Wisely decided on the way over to buy the drink package, by my accounting by day 3 had consumed enough alcohol for it to be worthwhile - all top shelf booze.

Wasn't there talk of diverting the Mississippi to supply water to the west? ?
