How tight are your pants?

Or how much stuff do you keep in you pockets?

Never had this happen and my fob lives in my pocket.
Only the fob. Lol, no skinny jeans for me. It happens occasionally so I should just use my forscan to change settings.

Hmm, just bending over with the fob in my pocket hits the damn button, might have to consider this.
Happened to me today while it was in my jacket pocket. Of course, when I tried to turn it off from the exact same place where it went on, I was out of range - how is that even possible? ? ?

Cancelling the panic button always seems to have the shortest range. I had to go outside when I tripped the panic alarm at home. by mistake. On the other hand, I can start my truck from around the corner of the building and 50 feet away.

You want to talk annoying..., my Nissan had a timeout on unlocking. I needed to get something out of my truck at work. I'm on the second floor, and 50 feet away straight line of sight. 100 feet or so actual path walking...I unlocked the doors, (left the fob on the desk) went down to the truck, and just as I was about three feet away, I heard it re-lock.

I absolutely HATE the panic / alarm on this truck. It goes off waaay to easily. I don’t have Forscan, but this might make me consider it.

I just straight up disabled the panic in Forscan. I don't even see any reason why you'd use it and I only ever set it off accidentally.
I use it all the time to find cars in the parking lot

I would just tell em get the fuck away from my truck. Even a guy yelling HELP is going to get more attention than a car alarm going off these days.
This is true. There's so many that hit the alarm button by mistake (like me at times) that few even pay attention to the things anymore. All we can hope for is the criminal will be scared off when the alarm fires up.

I was actually sucker-punched in a parking lot late at night by a complete stranger when I was like 18-19 years old. The idea of letting my hands down to rummage in my pocket hoping my car alarm Lassies someone over to help wasn't an option. The lot was nearly empty too so it wouldn't have made a difference. People who have dealt with violence know how fast it can happen.

I got one of these, because I kept setting off the panic alarm from moving around with the fob in my pocket, even after I got a belt loop hanger, and let it hang in my back pocket all by itself. It hasn't happened since.

I also wanted to keep from scratching the thing up when it does go in the pocket with other junk (keys, knife, etc). They are $200 or so to replace. The cover is like $12, and it's super easy to take on and off.

It also gets style points, because the blue matches the truck pretty good. :)
