About $5500 off sticker when ordered through Granger. Dealers in California want about 5000 above sticker nowadays. About $250 each to fly up and a very, very very fun trip home for three days. In love with the Nebraska cornfields, and the Utah mountains, simply beyond beautiful.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am curious as to the reason for ordering from a Dealer so far away? I am always up for a Road Trip I took my 2004 Ranger from Ohio to Prudhoe Bay AK and back a few years ago, 10,500 miles Round Trip and it ran like a top and of course did a DIY oil change in a parking lot. Will have to try your route someday if I could just jump the fence and retire...Thanks for sharing
Thank you.Remember to use the gear lock out to vary your RPM while breaking in that engine on a road trip.
Everybody has their own opinion of proper break in, but I don't think anybody would say 1000 miles of 1700 rpms is ideal.
good looking truck! shocked you came all the way out to the midwest thou lol should be a fun drive home! well besides the nebraska part... that state is so damn boring to drive through!!!Hi all…. We ordered her seven months and one day ago from Granger motors Ford dealer in Granger Iowa. She arrived at the dealer this last Tuesday and we (loving wife and I)picked her up Thursday afternoon. We live in Hawthorne California, which is right next to LAX airport. About a 25 hour drive and or 1,700 mile trip. 3 eight hour days of driving with totally Bitchin sight seeing all the way home! Nebraska farmlands, Colorado Rockies and way beyond beautiful Utah mountains through at least six states. Anyhow, Da goal…. Something like a 3 1/2 inch coil over of good to above quality with upper arms and not sure what size tires and 17 inch wheels. Thanks all!

but for the question about suspension there is a lot of different kits people run on here.
you can do a leveling spacer where its just a spacer and uses the oem shocks but they are so so tbh and it still has the bad oem stuff in it. but it is way cheaper for those on a budget!
now for a leveling kit where it comes with front coilovers and rear shocks the 4 choices i see a lot are
fox
eibach
old man emu
icon
now there is differences between these options as well the fox is adjustable but only when off the vehicle same with old man emu where as the eibach can be done on the vehicle with a punch dont use a spanner... they are a pain trust me... now the other differences is how they ride a few here have stated the fox rides softer but still planted like it should, where as the eibach rides stiff and planted but not to awful, old man emu i havent heard much about i only know a handful with them but they all state they ride good and have a new leafs that come with the kit as well. now for icon... well you wont get a good review from me about em... i have ran the rear shocks in my tacoma and hated them they blew out within a few months... i have a lot of other friends in the toyota side who have ran icon with the same experience with em being just poorly made coilovers that honestly belong in one place...... and that place is the trash..... they are prone to leak and blow out way faster then any other brand out there because they claim to be "performance coilovers" when in reality they are not....
now for uca's there is a few options out there but overall you dont need one from what ive seen unless you are wanting more travel some have stated it makes your truck ride better? idk about that unless its long travel tbh. but you have a lot of brands like camburg, icon, and total chaos, and i think dirt king? that all make uniball upper control arms these arms are very strong but are open to the elements so you will need to keep them clean after a wheeling trip or after a wash to extend the life of them. for a ball joint style most of the company's mentioned all have a standard joint style as well where its a bolt it on and forget about it besides to grease it once and awhile but the other company to look at for arms with a standard joint is spc ucas these arms are great arms! they will claim they have a bit more travel then a uniball which they ultimately do but they are not as strong as the uniball design. with all that said thou the spc should do find for the majority of what people do unless you want to bomb down whoops or trail ride with jeeps on 37s or larger then you might need something stronger
tires are depending tbh you can put on a set of 265s 275 or 285s. i think 265 is the only one that can go on without a lift and still be a usable truck but that im not fully sure on tbh. also with larger tires its recommended to either replace the intrusion bars or cut them out
wheels honestly that part is up to you! method race wheels makes some awesome wheels with some cool tech behind them but if you dont like the style then they aint for you tbh! for offset i think flush is around +10-+20ish ive seen some with +35 and it can look okay at times just depends on how flush you want it to your fenders or if you want loads of poke! if you want fender flares on the truck id recommend 0 offset or a -10 offset since it will be flush or a bit of poke with the flares and not look sunk into the vehicle and look a bit odd but again up to you!
no prob im still newer to rangers but ive been around for awhile in the offroad scene with my old tacoma hahaMan-o-man
Thank you Sooooooo much, Thanks!
oh i just thought of something! if you havent gone through omaha nebraska yet and you like ramen look up ika ramen! they are great! if you want a burger thats pretty good and got time to kill go to the zoo! and then hit up king kong burger! and trust me when i say dont get a double!!!!Man-o-man
Thank you Sooooooo much, Thanks!
