I sent an email with your screenshot attached. I'm a pessimist so I expect everything that can go wrong will go wrong, but I keep trying to tell myself that I'm in no hurry.

Don't worry that the dealership may get irritated with you. Watching Tim Bartz videos really helped me understand that some dealerships talk like they know this, but they don't. Just like his video on Price Protection.
He said some dealerships don't know that they aren't going to lose money with Price Protection because Ford is going to reimburse the dealership. I'm almost quoting Tim word for word. 'They are going to get reimbursed by Ford for Price Protection.'

And from all the back and forth with dealerships that we can read about here and other Ford forums convinced me that many are either stupid, uninformed, ignorant but too proud to be willing to listen to the customer about things such as COVP and Price Protection, or actually trying to pull some kind of shifty crap.
I don't blame Ford one bit for being tired of dealing through dealerships. Yes, it's also about profits, but I sincerely believe Ford is trying to dial all this crap in. All the 'f Ford' posts I believe lay at the feet of the dealerships. Not all. Infact there may be many good dealerships, but we post here in these forums about our bad experiences.

Got my order placed for MY23 on 09/02. I'm a little behind in the line, as I had some other things to get taken care of before I placed my order. Actually wasn't going to even order until next year, but my local dealer is having a $4,000 rebate on all new vehicles right now. So that deal was too good to pass up. Salesmen said they were estimating around December/January time frame. Not sure how accurate that estimate is or not. I went with Lariat 500A(wanted 501A, but was told that the 501A options wasn't available to order at this time, due to lack of commodities for that package. I.E. the chip shortage) and the Tremor package, in Carbonized Grey. I can't wait until delivery. I already have a decent list of accessories and upgrades just waiting for the truck.

I'm starting to get anxious about the fact that I haven't received an update in 6 weeks and others received their build dates 2 weeks ago (even some that placed their order 3-4 weeks after mine).

They asked for my order number when I called....should be able to give you an update with that.

Perfect! I gave them my Sales Code and Order Code and they were able to look it up. No status update, but there's supposedly no hold up or anything... I was hoping I'd missed an email or that I'm just 20 minutes ahead of the game and they would have said "Yeah, you should be getting your VIN emailed to you today" but no luck so far...

I read that the Bronco MY23 Build & Price site will launch on September 19th. I wonder if the same is true for the MY23 Ranger?

PS Can anyone tell me how to edit my vehicles in my signature? I reached out to the Moderator but got no response. Need to add my '23 Ranger! Thanks.

I sure hope so. I refresh the site daily to see if I can get renders of my Azure Gray Tremor (or an Azure Gray anything). Related note: When I talked to Ford customer service today the guy asked what color I ordered. I said "Azure Gray" and he got really excited, said it was the best color. Though, he may have just been friendly to boost his customer satisfaction score. (If so, it worked.)

You can see Azure Gray in the 2022 Lightning Build & Price. Even though it says 2022, when you start the build, it is 2023. I will say that the rendering doesn't look like the photos I've seen of the color (on a Raptor).

Nice find! You're right though... That looks a lot lighter than I expected it to based on the Raptor pics that have been floating around and the color swatches that I've seen.

I'm really wondering if that Raptor photo is actually Azure Gray. It looks very flat, not metallic. Personally, I hope it's closer to the Lightning rendering.

It’s been ordered! 2023, Velocity Blue XL 4x4 100A w/ rear diff lock and manual sliding rear window, x-plan. Hopefully get my COVP shortly (I was able to get to the dealership 15 min before close.)

If 101A becomes available before Oct 3, then I will likely upgrade to 101A. If not, guess I’ll be installing my own cruise control.

do you mean adaptive cruise control? All standard equipment packages have basic cruise control

Finally, some real world pictures of Azure Gray. Still doesn't look metallic to me. And definitely not loving the look of that King Ranch....too many colors going on....Azure Gray with two tone trim, chrome (lots of chrome!) and black B pillar trim. Glad I got the Sport package.

Curious what others think.
