Still no window sticker on the truck. I think this whole thing is a giant hoax. And I'm seriously considering running over to the Nissan lot and just buying something at window sticker because screw Ford
still no? i thought you had a build date this week. ive had my sticker for a few days now. look at it every hour. still searching for mistakes. none found to this moment in time. better go look again

I did not get a 'sorry for the delay' email some of shared. My build date is scheduled next week, 8/22. Ordered March 21st, so 5 months from order to build. Next variable will be delivery. Assuming 1 to 3 months to western Washington State?

I quit assuming anything from this F'd up car builder long ago. In between Ford and my crap dealer, I'm ready to buy a moped and call it a day.

Yeah, I understand the sentiment. I've read your posts of late! You're ticked, and I get it.

I can't remember if you ordered through a dealer, or if a dealer ordered and you have first right of refusal.. I found a dealer in an area with the lowest sales tax and advertised a simple order process: MSRP, no dealership deals, honor Ford incentives at time of order OR time of delivery, whichever are better. These guys got really good reviews.

When I spoke with the salesperson, they were refreshingly honest. Asked if I was aware of the inventory issues, I was. He said they'll sell at straight MSRP, aren't negotiating lower on Rangers or other popular vehicles. Asked if I understood, I did. Also said be prepared for a 6 month wait, maybe more and there's nothing they can do about it. He said just forget you ordered it until you get the good news emails.

Didn't put a single penny down upon order. Dealer said they don't need to do that, in fact they click their heals in joy when customers back out of their order. It becomes the dealers truck, one they'll likely mark up above MSRP. Dealer only benefits from customers walking away from orders.

Anyway, I like to monitor this forum to get sense of current timelines. I need to order a canopy top, still trying to gauge when best to do that - those talk a couple months these days, too.

If you have no pressing need, might be best just to forget about the day to day statuses. One day your truck will arrive at your dealer. Seems nothing will influence a faster process. I think Ford is building them as fast as they can, but if they're waiting on their vendors to supply chips, upholstery, steel, aluminum, etc, nothing Ford can do about that, other than be accurate with any updates they provide, as vague as they are.

You tried that before, your wife won't allow it.

Damn, 11 months and change. Your patience was tested, for sure. I think that's on the very long side, from what I believe I see as patterns from this thread. I'm sure you would've been happier with 6, 7 months wait.

Of course I’d would’ve . I’m fine with it as it’s not my daily driver. My daily driver is my 07 FX4 level 2 .

Well, I noticed in the FordPass app today that I now have the option to activate the vehicle, which I would assume means it is built. Also, the WiFi Hotspot option is now available as well. It can’t be activated until I take delivery. So hard to say how much longer that will be. My dealer says 3 weeks. I think he might be smoking something….

I downloaded the app and added my VIN, but there is nothing to see - where did the WiFi and "activate" info display?

Sounds like some ppl are getting delivery quicker as of recent... did your $MSRP/delivery increase? That may help move things along!

Went and downloaded the app to check mine after I saw your post, mines showing the same (activate button and the wifi option). Really hoping this means it's ready to be shipped soon. My understanding is that the rangers are all shipped from the factory in Michigan. Not sure how far you are from there, but I'm in central NJ. Give us an update when you get a delivery estimate, I'll do the same. Very anxiously awaiting it to come at this point, on borrowed time with my current truck haha
