I have a Bakflip MX4. What does the upgrade kit do?

It adds updated hardware, rounded corners to the cover and new hard rubber bumpers instead of the soft foam ones.

I had the first gen version they came out with in 2019. They improved over the years with the things listed above.

You know, he could be working on a gen2 tailgate damper. 12v powered to lift the gate because of all the muscle atrophy caused by having a gen1

I saw some lightweight closing a power tailgate this week. I think it was a Silverado. I don’t know if he saw me but I was givin‘ him side eyes. Pfffft.

I just installed those side markers a couple weeks ago. Bought them directly from Morimoto. Love the way the look and fits more in line with the look of my truck. Hated those orange markers! It's one of those small things that make a big difference

The side markers were literally the first things I swapped out a few weeks after getting the truck.

Very nice! That looks very comfortable, for sure. My friend’s family had a Winnebago Brave back when I was in High School. I was lucky enough to join them on the occasional weekend camping trip and it was a blast.

I’m always amazed at how little they’ve changed over the years…?
