So I've just run into a problem with the black stripe on the passenger side. Along the curved edge toward the front there is a section about 3/4" to 1" that where the adhesive has let go. Only about 1/8" of material is peeling back. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to put it...
To be fair, if you keep a halogen housing and simply put LED bulbs into it, you're going to run into this issue as well. The aftermarket housings aren't defective, automotive electrical engineers are just a pain in the ass.
Simple answer is you need a decoder spliced in-line with your driver side low beam circuit. I've dealt with the exact same issue with my aftermarket Akkon LED housings.
What's happening is that for whatever reason, car manufacturers program the BCM to momentarily cut power to that circuit to...
Okay so after a little searching on our favorite communist site, I think I found exactly what I need:

Good day all!
I have an XLT without power folding mirrors, and I'm wanting to swap the mirror switch for the Lariat version with the mirror fold button so I can utilize it as a switch for a remote air tank drain. Does anyone know if there's a standalone jumper harness for this plug or at least...
So I'm strongly thinking about doing this for my Ranger with a Glowshift gauge for my on board air system. How did you route the harness around the vent channels?
Good choice on the fogs. I have the white set and love them! Quick heads up though: don't freak out if you can't see the backlight at first, it is very NOT visible in bright sunlight. Otherwise they look hella good!
Second: I've had it happen once on each side randomly after they've been...
A number of things can render the front collision radar effectively "blind." I've found that mine doesn't like heavy rain, heavy fog, snow, ice, etc. Also watch out when driving at night because sometimes you can get a false collision warning SPECIFICALLY if you're approaching a traffic light at...
Let's say hypothetically that on your recent trip to Colorado that you got a rock chip on the front of your hood. And let's say hypothetically that you royally botched your touch-up job really badly (hypothetically). Well as the saying goes: if you can't fix it, hide it! Introducing the Fix Or...
Went on a road trip with my wife last week to hike the Colorado Rockies. 3k miles from Ohio, all up and down Colorado (f#$% Denver traffic!) and then back again. Got some great views, cake the front of the truck in Kansas bugs; good times!
Got my air setup installed last week. Really happy with the setup! Just need to fix one minor air leak in one of the connections and I'm gravy. @subquark as promised , here are a couple pics...
For sure! And I'll be sure to get pics uploaded once it's installed.
EDIT: I just checked, and the tank takes up every bit of the length of that space going from the fuel tank to just above the transfer case skid plate...BUT IT FITS!!! I may have to cut off the legs though to preserve ground...
So my plan actually is to mount it underneath with a mount I made that just clamps around the frame rail. the tank itself will be u-bolted to the mount, and the compressor will bolt upside down directly to the mount. If I measured right, there's plenty of space on the driver's side in front of...
