Hi all,

Just curious. With the right amount of trimming, would it be possible to fit 35x12.50x15s on a 3" suspension lifted Ranger without swapping the front bumper? I've seen 33s and 34s fit but I would prefer to go with a 35 for appearance and off-roading.

Cheers,
Cam
I have 33s with a 3.5 superlift, and a Fox 2.0 let me know how Fabtech goes if you planning that, I'm going to try Eibach with a different UCA. The issue for me is that the UCA is hitting the metal flange on the side of the housing shocks.

After seeing this build I went and got myself some 315/70’s for my Ranger. I just have one question… Will I need to worry about the front tire making contact with the front bumper? I know I’ll be doing some cutting regardless but I do not want to touch the any painted parts of the body. My offset looks to be different than yours. I’ll be running -25 17x9’s. Do you think those will clear the bumper? I’ll have a 3.5” lift on my truck if that helps.

What 3.5 inch lift are you using?

Not really alot of trimming with 295/70/17. Depends on the offset you chose. I've been running 295's on 17x9 -12's since May of '19 with out major issues. Even under full flex off road I have Slight rubbing that's been minimum. Now if you want to keep the crash bars and block attached behind the tire then that's a horse of a different color.
Think a 315/70r17 could be done with -25 offset?

Dobinsons
First time I heard of them, thanks for the info. I'm using susperlift suspension 3.5 inch and I have a 295 70R17. I have a good clearance and it will tight

Thanks for the info, This is the first time I heard of Dobinson, I'm using susperlift 3.5 inch and using a 295 70R17. Your tire size that you choose will fit, but you have to remove the crash bars and the plastic next to rear crash bar and might have to trim the felt paper. It might rub and full lock. Did your dobinson comes with UCA and diff drop?

3.5 and some creativity will get you there I did it with the sasquatch wheels and tires and a crash bar removal (plus the lift obviously) and she works like a charm

Here she is in all her glory. I will get better pictures when the snow melts. Really happy with this build! I feel like I could have pushed for 35s but the 315/70/R17 KO2s equate to 34.4" in diameter so close enough I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Required a crash bar delete but that was it for now. I plan to trim the wheel well liner since there is some minor rubbing going on when the wheels are fully turned. Does anyone have suggestions for caloborating the odometer? It would be great to have my mileage calculated properly.

The car world considers those 35's so you can say you are there lol just like men and their "tailpipes" the tire manufacturers definitely like to round up...

the 3.5 will fit you may have some rubbing at extreme articulation but its gonna be rare as long as you removed the crash bars. With crazy offset tho idk my wheels are like 30 something I believe -25 is gonna be way out there

I’m a little worried about the offset. I don’t think it’ll look too crazy though. I found some badass wheels and -25 was all the had. That’s when I decided on 33’s. If I knew I was going up in size at the time I wouldn’t have gone with that offset.

Yeah with 33's you should be alright I'd do some testing though it may be where you rub slightly at a certain point and then going past it stop my buddies got crazy offset wheels on his 150 and he has that problem, he is doing a higher lift and that should solve it
