I believe that's what he said they were, they're a touch darker than the carbonized gray my truck is.. I'll try to remember to get a good picture of the truck sitting in the sun tomorrow for you to get a better idea.
That'd be great thanks

I applied my tailgate lettering. Dark gray, tried to match the trim. I am much more of a technical kind of guy and this felt more like, I dunno, touchy so I was a little nervous putting them on. I used the wet method for the first time and I think it turned out better, even the wife approved.

Looks great - how tough was it wiring in that light? How freakin’ big is the relay?

It's that Statue-of-Liberty look—I likes it!

Take your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape!

That does look terrific and it does match the trim really well.

$100 for struts still too much for me... I'm used to snagging my skull on the hood corners at this point anyway.
Well, it's cheaper and easier than installing Ford struts, I guess you'd need to do some welding or brazing? Not sure, but this was easy and a splurge for sure.

My splurges consist of shocks, and a battery powered weed trimmer...

What year and trim do you guys have? My '19 XLT has them from the factory, but I don't think they say Ford, hard to read! Pls excuse the dirty engine compartment, and lack of engine cover, I refuse to spend good money on one ( as opposed to bad money!)...

They removed the struts in later '22s. Some '22s still had the mounting hardware, but later ones, like mine, had nothing. This kit is incredible easy to install.

I don't know why the struts were so important to me, but I was disappointed when I learned that I wouldn't have them.

And mine's an XL ...

All the excess gas that use to be going to the dip stick has been redirected to power the light. Oil-Gas dilution problem solved!

Decided to revamp my rear seat delete wiring, mainly from having connections on the hatch underside (first photo is old in work progress) to centralizing everything to the bottom base frame on both sides. I also built a new base from using 1x4 instead of 2x4 to thin it out a bit. The floor mounted wiring isn't changing. The wire organization when I am done is going to be a work of art.

22 Fused connections
22 Relays
2 Air Flow Fans
3 110v connections
7 USB connections
36 One Direction Channels
18 Output Channels
Additional Grounding Block Positions
Single 4 AWG to four way 4/8/10 AWG Central Power Distribution Block

I don't care if that cover doesn't do a darn thing. I really like how the engine bay looks now.
Looks good!

which extender is this?

does it say if it has a weight limit? For example if you had something longer that angled over the top with weight on the top of extender?

I've been using this for a while now and this snow foam works really good Steve. I'm not sure how your water is there but here it's very hard water so I use distilled water in the foam cannon when mixing mine. 3 oz of the snow foam soap to 16 oz of water seems to be about the perfect ratio to start with. Plus the Honeydew smells so good you'll be hungry after washing your truck. lol
