You drive a Lariat right?

Shouldn't be a problem with keyless ignition. But I certainly wouldn't want all that weight on ring that goes into a key cylinder. Remember all those GMs that wouldn't shutoff?
Yes, thankfully I don’t have to hang all that from the ignition. But I do in my Accent. Maybe I need to trim it down some.

Whelp now you gotta get your license or be subject to constant roasts by us lmao, I would definitely recommend it, learning to fly is an unbelievable experience, I got my license in high school and it definitely had a lot of perks lol including admission to a certain club....
As an aircraft mechanic in the Navy, I dealt with plenty of these "remove before flight" covers. Don't need to be a pilot to understand.

Those are actually good to have if you're hooked up to a battery maintainer. Place it on your dash so you don't forget it's plugged in and drive away with it connected.

I've seen some women that should deploy these when they get gas, so they don't drive away with the filler hose.

Yeah for some reason all the videos I have seen of them or all the people who have their caps hanging out that I have tried to flag down while driving have been women, now I am not a sexist but it is a funny coincidence

Yea, not going to send a picture of my keys. That said... Truck FOB, Tracker, Decked Box, House, Mom's House & Mailbox. I have stand-alone keys for my 2012 Escape and 2012 Flex that I grab if I'm driving them anywhere, which is rare.
I try to limit my keys as much as possible. Gates around my house use Kwikset padlocks, Hitch & Trailer locks are Bolt brand locks keyed to my truck key.

Wonder if I could modify my mailbox to open with my phone... Hmm.

Woah! What a great idea! Do you have a link or is this a local place?

Cool! Then you take the key to get cut locally I assume.
Nope, you just put your existing truck key into it and turn. It breaks off the pins inside or something and sets the key. Pretty sure the Mfg website has a good demo and explanation video.

edit: Here is the video
