Not sure if this is normal of all Rangers, but my passenger side window is a bit slower to rise and come down than the driver side. We're talking about 3 sec slower to fully go up or down.

As far as I remember this has been an issue since I picked up the truck in 2019.

Anyone else experience something like this?

Additionally, the trim around my window from the passenger side seems to be warping a little bit. Is this a known issue as well?

I'm pretty sure it's normal and they're all like that. My passenger side window has always been slower than the drivers side.

If your talking about the outside rubber around the window that's been a know issue too. Sorry, not the best picture but you can see mine is like that too on the left side.

I don’t have that issue but why is it a problem? Heck it could be the “Dutch oven” feature…

?I think I figured out why? It's because there's no damper on the left side.?

Yep, that's exactly what I'm talking about as well. I went to the dealership today to get that roof rust issue taken care of (posted about it in another thread) and I noticed this issue on some of the Rangers in for service too.

About a year ago I went to the dealership to check out if the new Rangers had any upgrades, and they still had that trim issue as well, but not all of them just a few. I guess it's Hit or Miss if you get a bad trim alignment.

Mine had the window trim like that new back in December and so did the others on the lot. I had the dealer verify as well.

Same here brother. I mean I'm pretty OCD and it does bother me but not to the point I want the dealer messing with it. More than likely they'll make it worse or scratch something repairing it. Little things you learn to live with so they don't creative a larger problem.

same with mine. it's done that since new and hasn't got worse. what annoys me more is the auto up/down on driver's side but not passenger side.
You can fix that with the redtek module… I just installed it and it’s pretty awesome..
My passenger side is only a tad bit slower

Actually in this video they’re the same speed!

Try lubricating window channel W/ silicone lube. Put window down & give the channel a shot. When I worked in dealerships, the Aerostar had the worst problems with windows ever. They would be slow and then sometimes would not go back up. A little shot of sillglide & all was good. Had to do it to my own van. A quick shot every oil change, problem solved.
