Passenger side air vents are warmer than driver side (both set to sync on low)

Any thoughts on why the passenger side air vents would be "less cool" than the driver side? happens when I have the AC on and when it is not on. I never noticed it until I installed the new navigation map update, probably just timing coincidence. cabin air filter issue maybe?

It could be the dreaded Climate Control Module issue but I hope not.....
That's what mine did at the beginning.....passenger side warmer than the driver side.....

Mine did that and I had to have the heater air box replaced under the dash. Sounds just like what you are experiencing.

Sounds like another warped HVAC Distribution Box. There is a bulletin about this. Best thing to do, go to the dealer and get the process started. Be aware that a good dealer will have this done in 1 day

Messed up firmware? Just this morning, with the outside temp 24°, and out of the blue, the HVAC switched to heat out the top vents, right in my face! And just as mysterious, 5 minutes later, it switched back1 It was either Ford's programming, or a Poltergeist!
