Simply Amazing and breath taking :like:

Back in the day it would have been a great place to unload luggage if you catch my drift
Just like all the "luggage" they are finding as the waters of Lake Meade continue to recede.

Mark, I'm just using my iPhone 12 pro max. I have a really nice Cannon with all the lenses but it's older and way less megapixels. I wish I had it for some of the wide angles I'm missing but other than that I think the cell has worked out. Plus I don't think I'd have any room for the camera bag especially now with all the stuff Annies bought.
Wow your I phone has done a fantastic job. My Samsung would not do that good. I do have a Nikon D5300 + a bunch of lenses. Awesome camera but most of the photos are major pixel hogs. I can usually do only one in an e-mail. LOL Thanks

Glad you're enjoying it with us Steve! It's really worked out well and every place we've been has been fun, even the one night stops have worked out well.

Made it back to Arches NP this morning and went straight to Delicate Arch. It's by far the most popular sight here so if you ever plan on going make sure you get an early time slot. Ours was for 8:00am and we got to the parking lot at 8:15 and it was full. We go lucky and only had to drive around twice before grabbing a spot from someone who was there early and was leaving.

Now I'm glad that when we were here on Monday we saved this for today. I don't think Annie would've made it on Monday after all the walking. This is a 1.5 mile hike (each way) up to the top and there's some pretty steep areas on a huge rock which doesn't seem to end. Once we got to the top even she admitted she's so glad she did it as the view and the Arch were really an amazing sight. Hard to imagine how these were all formed so perfectly.

At the beginning there's an old cabin called Wolfe Ranch.

The first part is easy with a paved walkway and then it goes into a steep climb up a huge rock shelf.

There was one area with a bunch of cool looking rocks like this one.

It took about 50 minutes to get to the top and well worth the hike up. About 2/3 the way up we started getting hungry and this looked like a giant hamburger to me. lol ? ?

Duke @DukeCanBuildit sent me a bunch of pictures he found when he was there years ago. He didn't sent me the Delicate Arch picture as he wanted me to see it first hand. I've watched many videos and seen tons of pictures but nothing compares to turning that last corner and seeing it first hand. You can walk down and take pictures under the Arch and it took forever to get these shots as people were going down as fast as others were leaving.

On the left side while walking up the last stretch this is what you see. No wonder they call this Arches NP because there's so many throughout the park.

This is another window arch on the right side when you're at the last corner near the top. You can climb up the rock wall and take a picture of Delicate Arch through the window opening.

Back at the bottom near the parking lot there's a couple rocks with some Petroglyphs on them. We've seen a lot of these in Sedona but it never gets old seeing these and trying to figure out what they mean.

After a little over 3.5 hours at Delicate Arch we drove up to the northern section of the park. Don't skip this as there's so many awesome sights to see up there too.

There was one last arch before getting to the top. It was a short .2 mile hike to it and another great view.
