Hi everyone. Extremely frustrated waiting for delivery. I ordered a Velocity Blue STX supercab on 11/18/21. It was built on 4/18/22. Been sitting in 'Built and Awaiting Shipment' status since then.

I've been given multiple delivery/shipping dates by the dealer and Ford. The dealer even suggested that it may have been damaged prior to shipment and is sitting on the lot waiting for repairs. (Not good!)

The Order Track app has had it in 'On Hold' status since it was built. I have a bad feeling that I may never see this truck. I have all my fingers and toes crossed though.

You'll see it, it'll just take a while. My original order was very similar and it just all of a sudden showed up at the dealer while the tracker still showed it "awaiting shipping".

New to the group. I ordered a new 22 Ranger Lariat 4x2 Supercab on Apr. 14, 2022. I just got notice today from my dealer that it has been built. How long did it take you guys to get your truck delivered after you were notified it was built?.

My Lariat has been "In Production" since 04/08, still not built.

Hello Rangers
I got the Ford email last night that I'm scheduled for June 13. Originally it was June 20th and then June 27th., I ordered on Feb 27 and got my vin on April 28th.
Waiting for the 'Shop Truck' a pretty basic Race Red XL 101a with steelies, spray in and the tow package.
I am now in the system on Ford.com by the vin but not much other info.
Good luck to everyone who is waiting without much info/progress. I'm a little hopeful now but it will still be late July before it gets here.

If you selected the 302A package in your XLT, it ain't getting built in June.

Thanks for posting this! Do they give weekly updates as well? Or monthly?

He owns a good Ford store and he posts regularly. Once a week on production, I think.

In June, they will be scheduling August production of 6000 Rangers.

But, most important to me, at the 46:45 mark, it was said June scheduling will be 100% XLT, and if you have a Ranger XL or Lariat order, it's most likely not going to be scheduled for production.

What was the change to the 2023 date for the 5G Ranger? Or will they extend the 2022 year? At this point, if my Lariat production is pushed to September, it might as well be a 2023 model - at least that's my current thinking.

That is my take on it as well, and my dealer told me on Tuesday that 2023 Ranger ordering is tentatively to begin late July to mid-August, with Production beginning in November. I am in the same boat, and have talked to my dealer about strategy - If I cancel and order I will have no choice but the new MSRP (and whatever local deal). If I allow Ford to cancel and reorder a 2023 for me in the system, Ford MAY issue me a credit voucher for the difference (this is what they did when they cancelled the 2021s and reordered them as 2022.
To be honest, I am not sure how a 2022 order will translate to a 2023, and may have the most leverage with my local dealer since I will have been waiting since February.

I do think that there is some advice in the video about not deleting options/commodities that are short if you want to be pushed to MY23.

Remember, the new model Ranger will be a 2024 model, so the 23 model year shouldn't be a biggie. I'm gonna sit back and wait. If Ford cancels my order and changes it to a 2023, I'll be good with that as long as my 2022 pricing is still there.

True - I am thinkng about the same, unless I get scheduled out of the blue in September, and then will need to have the conversation with my dealer.

If you get scheduled in September, it'll definitely be a 23 model.
