Ok last time, if this nonsense doesn't STOP now I'm closing the thread and there will be warnings given out. If you don't like something posted here (or anywhere on the forum) move on to something that you do like.

I'm not singling out anyone but this thread has been great and helpful to many. I even enjoy following it and seeing everyone getting theirs delivered and it's fine to disagree but lets try and be civil about it. We're all here because we enjoy our Rangers and you'll all see the wait was worth it once they finally get delivered. :like:

Dude, that is awesome. I'm frustratingly jealous. I ordered the same truck on 21st of Feb but in Cactus Gray. Don't even have an assigned build date. How the heck is that rational?

And now, IF it gets built - will have halogens and not LEDs. I'm no marketing person, but I can't imagine Ford would be happy with the levels of animosity they are creating in the order to deliver process.

I know some will say Ford only cares about $ and it doesn't make a bit of a difference. I'd wager that really successful companies actually care about the customer experience. Maybe this is one of the reasons why they are saying EVs will be factory direct - they recognize the dealer model is hurting their customer satisfaction levels. And probably their profit margin.

My time scowering this thread daily is coming to an end soon. Just got notification of delivery to my dealer.

Lariat Tremor, 501a, tow package, utility bed package

confirmed: 3/10
Scheduled: 4/15 ish
Built: 5/11
Shipped to PNW: 5/25
Arrived at dealer: 6/3 (guessing)

I guess the second image didn't load. First MSRP was $39,465
You should be able to not only point out your signed price but that the price level changed from 2xx to 235, which is should not have. Price level should be from original order date.

Ordered 2/18. Built 5/19. Will take delivery on Tuesday 6/7.
I am happy for you. I find it mind boggling that mine was built a full month before yours and yet mine still sits out there. 7 months and waiting. I don’t know why people would vent and loose their mind on this forum ?

Same way I feel. This was supposed to be my stepping stone to a Ford EV next but now if it should show up this week will be my last Ford. Only reason I am still waiting is the pile of accessories in the garage I bought that were recommended on threads here. At least I have found a good use for the damper.

It is very frustrating. I like to believe Ford does care, but got themselves into a pickle that is difficult to get out/ completely remedy right now. The whole auto industry is in a state of change I think. Some manufacturers may have been in a better place to start. Not sure what the answer is.
I will say for the japanese manufacturers, in my business classes learning about their efficiency practices and lean development they are extremely efficient. American manufacturing has been trying to adopt some of these but on a whole is definitely behind the 8 ball in that regard.
I think that the dealer allotment also has a big impact, but with a much bigger dealer with larger allotment, the customer experience MAY be lessened. I have a very small dealer I ordered through, and although that may increase my wait, they have been very helpful and engaged on checking and keeping me updated.
Everything in life has a certain degree of compromise I guess, especially right now. We all just have to decide what hills we are going to choose to die on.

Sorry about the long post.

Looking at your tracker you show built day after production. My tracker is stuck at in production. Build/blend date was 6-1. Any ideas of what I could take from that? Wish theae trackers were a little more reliable

It was 5 calendar days after blend date for my truck to move to "Built." It went fast through production once it started.

I plan to call Ford again, today, but do not expect anything. The truck I ordered is starting its 9th week waiting for transport by convoy.

My tracker shows the built date next day after blend. The thing I called Ford about was the built originally had the circle filled in with a check but recently when you open the tracker you see the check for a couple milliseconds and then it disappears but still says built waiting for shipping. When I asked Ford thet didn't know why because it was shown as complete. The thing that scared me was reading a post on the Bronco forum saying there was a problem with rodents eating the soy based wiring insulation on vehicles in that big lot that had been sitting a while. He said Ford had engineers inspecting each vehicle for damage now and I assumed they may have found damage on mine and removed the check. All they said is it's still just waiting for shipping on a ramp. I guess part of the delay may be it's waiting for the harnesses to be inspected.

How the heck is that rational?
I'm 99% certain it's our dealers who are keeping our orders low priority. Dealer allocation is the ONLY variable I can find in the process, and FMC quickly says "call your dealer" if you ask about options, hold-ups, etc.

(How I understand it...) If your order is "unscheduled clean" it's available to go forward - there is no "waiting list."

Either of us could get put in this week (if there is scheduling), it's just up to our dealer to promote our order (if they get allocation).

They could also get an order today and toss it on the top of the pile (setting ours aside for another week).

I've seen orders on this forum get a VIN within weeks, and posts where guys get a heads-up from the dealer about upcoming VINs ("you should get an email soon"). ?

Yeah, the dealer controls the game. Feels more like playing blackjack than purchasing a vehicle.
