Kevin, the same thing would happen to me. I'd get them nice and tight and everything looked good then next thing I know half the cover was in the bed. :explode: I called the company and finally got the shims set right and it's been a good 2 years without any issues. Now I probably just cursed myself.:frown:
Right before your trip. Let's hope not.

I wanna know too, seems pretty fancy but I have no idea what it is? Alien Hunting?
It's for lights and other things. The StormPro is a siren.

What is all that for/ What does it do?
Believe it or not there are more relays. Will be about 20 in total.

Lighting and auxiliary systems. Some of it is just room for expansion.

Full onboard solar array system is on the project table in future.

^ What he said. Though I'll be using the StormPro for the yelp and PA function (paired with a storm speaker that will be installed behind grille)

So it is for Alien Hunting! Excellent!

Seriously, that's some beautifully done wiring. =)

Uh pardon me, I identify as vampire hunter (and sometimes a helicopter on Tuesdays).
Sorry about that, I didn't mean for Alien Hunters to sound like an exclusive group. I think someone can be any kind of Hunter that they identify with, like Sasquatch, Chupacabra, and, of course, the most honorable Vampire Hunter! =)

Note that my highest respect is to Vampire Hunters that are also helicopters—those bats don't have a chance! =D

Started piecing the puzzle together.

I also started some work on the 90 degree flip-up wall hatches. I will probably work on the frame tomorrow. Kind of just mocked it up this evening. I did complete one hatch lid, wrapped it, and also attached a molle panel to it.

Molle is terrible at sagging over large spans so I just went basic and added some well placed staples on the front side, then painted the staples black. Not really noticeable unless you get your face right up on it. Once pouches and other items are up though, most will be covered.

Put in another order for some more faux pebble leather and some more gas struts, should be able to finish it sometime next week.

I'm kind of digging upholstry work, so once all this is done I think I might give a shot at building my own overhead console instead of paying ARB $500 for theirs. I bet I can do it for $100 or less and look just as good.
