Thanks for letting me know. It was so frustrating and I took a crescent wrench to bend up the side cutting the tailgate cap, only to then straighten it out the next day.

So does yours also almost touch the cab? Maybe it depends on Supercab versus Supercrew.

Thanks again, I don't feel like I got a bad one. It does work well and I like how easy it rolls up and down.
I am about an eighth of an inch from the cab. Mine works just fine too.

Perfect! Sure would have been nice to have a small note about this. I don't need pics but if Bak would just say "Hey, thanks and your cover will reach the cab and not line up with the bed as written in the general instructions".

Right now I kinda feel like "Thanks sucker!"

But if that's my biggest problem, crying about a tonneau cover that cost a zillion bucks, then I've got a charmed life!

Process of upgrading my rear seat delete platform...

Fold up floor panels to access storage area underneath, but also raised the platform sub-frame so I can store other things as well. In the end it will have camlocks and gas struts.

Floor panels will be wrapped in faux pebble leather.

Got to wait for more vinyl to come in to finish the frame parts, but I think my faux leather is coming in today for the tops. I also got some cabinet magnets coming to help with any millimeter slop in the door and frame when closed. (prevent rattling)

Got one lock installed and testing the gas strut.

Edit: Yup my pleather came in. Did a little, but wait till morning gotta get ready for work.

Please let us know how it affects engine noise. I'm really interested and don't need much encouragement to get one! =)
I have one. It's not a huge damper of noise, but does seem to affect it a wee bit.
I like it. It was worth the money I paid at the time to get it.
I'd get it again.

Tell you what David, I now hear absolutely no engine noise since I installed this about 30 minutes ago!!! It is working great!

*** You didn't want me to check it with the engine running now, did you? *** LOL!!!

Nothing like a smart___ answer from Tennessee today

When I get a chance to drive it, I will let you know. Either way, it sure looks nice and for an additional $4.99, I am getting an assortment of black rubber screw covers from Amazon to pretty it up even more!

Need any more encouragement from me?

The Ranger AA "Do Not Buy" guidelines that we are supposed to be following are not applicable for OEM engine covers :like:

How’s she sound??
This is not my video, but pretty much like this:

I like the sound, a little louder than my RS was stock. But the automatic under low load where the torque converter is still not locked is weird to me still, just sounds like I'm holding an RPM while gently accelerating. I'm used to manual transmissions where any speed change is an engine RPM change. But under a near WOT dash to 60mph, it's great compared to before.
