Rangers on your street

There is one two doors down from me, both hot pepper red. My neighbors daughter was going to his house the other day when I was driving down the street and she waved at me thinking I was her father.

I live in SUV and minivan city. None around me either although I expect to see more in the near future. My neighbors are highly impressed with it.
AND,...I just received my latest issue of Consumer Reports and they like it too. In the green with high scores.
Tacoma way down in the red, and Colorado even lower!

I also read those interesting articles. The Colorado/Canyon twins had the lowest reliability score I ever recall seeing. They had a score of 4 (out of 100). The problem areas identified were transmissions, drive system and fuel/emissions system.

In another related section they had reliability predictions for 2020 models. The Ranger was the top performer in the compact pickup segment with a score of 78 (41 - 60 is average). The remaining were Frontier (48), Ridgeline (48), Tacoma (47) and Colorado/Canyon (4).

I've followed a HPR crew cab out of the development a couple times in the past month, but don't know where it parks. Got up this morning and was opening up blinds and saw this at the end of my street. Don't know if the owner lives there or if it was a visitor, but I hadn't noticed it until today.

It's like that here too and I've only seen two other Rangers here in the past 4 months. I think there's 5-6 Tacomas just in the small area where I drive out of my development alone. The other day I was coming down the street in S mode and one guy was outside getting into his so I dropped it down a couple gears and gave him a little turbo spool lol Childish (maybe) but it was fun.

Two doors down, for me too, is a white one on the same side of the street and then a red one exactly across the street from that one! Both are previous generation and are probably a few years on either side of 2000. I'm surprised that they have very little rust and hope that bode wells for mine too!

We have lots of salt-grime-crap on the streets in the winter, including that funky-smelling beet juice concoction that the dog always wants to roll in!

Lots of Tacos in our neighborhood, probably six, and I can't wait to show them all up! =p

I live in a small condo complex of less than 200 units. There is a black 2019 XLT around the corner from me, my 2021, and a few doors down new owners have a 2019 silver XLT.

The street I live on is just 5 blocks long, as a result I am the sole current generation Ranger owner on it.
There is a white 2021 Lariat S/Crew a block away from me, the owner parks it on the street (a brave soul), 3 doors away from that resides a new Bronco, also white.
I saw a new Maverick parked in a nearby apartment complex parking lot yesterday, it's a beautiful dark metallic blue, the exact same color I wished Ford would offer for Rangers...oh well

In my neighborhood I have a FX4 exact color as mine just 8 houses down. Within my neighborhood total there is at least 2 Raptors, 2 Wildtraks and lots of other model Rangers. So all in all at least 10-12 or so.
