Just picked it up today, wanted to show off but not too many people in my immediate environment have an appreciation for this sort of thing.

It's an original M416 with quite a few mods from the previous owner, including a telescoping strut-powered platform with RTT and awning. Also has line-x in the bed and they replaced the pintle hitch for a lock 'n roll type. They put it on 32s which tracks great behind the Tremor.

It also came with the original manual, which has this interesting bit of info:

Now I can finally work my way through all the remote campsites I've been bookmarking!

The manual really makes it. Not often you get real history like that. Looks like fun times ahead!

Cool that you have it. Just understand that even though the trailer is built for OffRoad it still has limitations. Just be careful on the trail and where you go and you should be fine

Yep absolutely. My intent is to use it for a basecamp setup and then tackle the harder stuff with the Tremor or my dirt bike. My kids haven't done much camping yet anyway so we'll take it nice and easy.

sweet setup! those old trailers are tough as nails, it will serve you well. the only thing i would need different is a way to pee without getting out of the tent and down the ladder three times a night lol.
Haha, we'll see how that goes!

That's slick!

The only way I'd do a RTT is on top of a trailer like this.

That is awesome!

Can you provide more detail on the lift mechanism?

At first glance it almost looks like a cable lift similar to a pop up camper.

I've been trying to decide how to do a lift system for my camping trailer and have several ideas, but I'd like to see how an actually well thought out system is engineered.

My homebuilt-in-progress trailer.

This is my wife's biggest complaint with the RTT ?

That’s really cool but it’s too bad you have to spend a bunch more money to make it all work out properly…

…you know, on account of now having to paint your Tremor and swap out your wheels to match that awesome trailer. ?

That’s fantastic! After having my tent mounted to my truck for over a year, I have considered running something similar. Unfortunately, my biggest hurdle is figuring out where to park it when not in use.
