Well first real accident. Was in stand still traffic and a Chevy Avalanche wasn't paying attention. He swerved into the median as to not take a bumper to bumper Collision. Had to get tire changed. I am good, sucks to be this guys insurance. Wonder how long and how much? Who knows with all the sensors and all...I am good..hope my truck will get the tlc it needs.

Glad you’re ok. That stinks though. Looks to be about 6k to me. Parts availability is what’s gonna take the longest. I’d say 4 months at least. Don’t forget to file for diminished value through the other parties insurance. Your probably looking at about 3-4 k in DV alone.

Neil-

This sucks...glad you're OK. Looks like the truck is still drivable, which is a plus. Hopefully this gets fixed quickly, but with all the backorder parts from Ford these days, it may take some time. I'm sure it will shorter than the wait for a new one! Hang in there.

I know and every sensor is off, like Nick Fury in Winter Soldier lol. Wonder if they will fix it all...wouldnt mind getting different fender flares, the ones that stick out to the front..

Hi Neil,

This sucks, but very glad you are okay.... Hope the body shop can wave their magic over the Ranger and make it good as new...

Best,
Phil

Glad you're ok. Looks completely repairable but others here have had trucks totalled with seemingly similar damage so who knows these days.

On that DV as that is really important. I had a friend that had a logging truck run into his Denali truck. I told him to ask his agent about that. He said he never heard of it before. He got a additional check for 4k.
