What did you do to disable it? I came across this video on YouTube today where unplugging the auto start-stop caused other problems on an F150.
Fred, Just plug in an LED nightlight behind the center console and it'll disable A/S/S. I've had mine like this for 3 years now and it works great and only cost $3.00.

Ok... I see what is going on here!

This is just another thread to get me to buy something I didnt know about or that I needed it.

If I take unwanted stuff off, that is less weight, so better mpg right?
If I take stuff off and replace it with something better, that should be a wash.
If I take stuff off and add performance, it goes faster, so less mpg right.

What is the goal Mr. OP? Are you working something funny so that I do things to my Rig, watch others do their thing, and then when I while driving mine in pure happiness I see that I need to add or do more? You are planting IDEAS!

Good to see we are still looking out for each other and helping the wallet stay lighter.

I wanted to remove the paint, but after thinking about it, not my smartest idea.

I've owned a lot of vehicles in my life, and I have always taken off dealer stickers, even the ones with drilled holes! And all this time, I thought I might be the only one who does. Thankfully, after reading the comments herein, I'm relieved!

I should add, that too many dealers go overboard with self-aggrandizing. Those nearly-impossible to remove decals and license plate frames (they're illegal in some states), are good examples. If they want me to leave them on, then pay me for advertising.

they always seemed like the made wind noise worse when I rolled down the window
I'm mainly concerned with the noise when the windows are up and traveling on freeways...how was the noise in that environment?
