I think once the carrier picks it up it is kind of out of Ford's hands. All they can do is pass along any estimates given them from the 3rd party (carrier). While it is Ford that decides on the delivery mechanism/carrier, there seem to be some constraints out of Ford's hands when it comes to issues with the rail/convoy carriers. Like trying to blame Stage 3 for an issue with UPS once they have the package. Not to say Ford does not have it's own issues, and could maybe improve by having something in place to be able pass more specific and detailed tracking information from the carrier, but I think there is some dual accountability and responsibility here as well.Ford completely missed the new delivery window they set for themselves. The truck has not shipped anywhere as of 3 May so it has been sitting in a lot for a month after build was complete.
