Maybe I need to pose my question differently. I would expect that special orders don't show up when one searches local inventory from Ford's website....as they are not dealer stock. A few times I do pull a window sticker and it is green. I've searched most major metro areas within an 8 hour drive of me. One so far I have confirmed that the person ordering it backed out for the one that was green but on hand.

So I guess the real question is: If a green window sticker is associated with a truck that pops when you search Ford's website for local inventory - does that imply that they no longer have a buyer assigned to that truck?

I think once it is built and shipped (maybe even ordered?) is shows up in the local dealer system, it is part of the Ford automation. The dalers around me use it as a 'That is sold/reserved, but come and let me show you what I have or what I can order for you'. Ask me how I know.

Called the dealer and purposefully tried to get a different sales rep this time. Apparently someone incorrectly statused the truck as "in transit to customer" when it was actually being sent over to a body shop to have the tonneau cover installed . New guy said that once it does end up on a railcar then it takes two to three weeks to get out to Denver and then a few more days to get to the dealership. Maybe thats why my original sales rep won't return my calls....

I "THINK" that it totally depends on how the dealer has their site setup. I know the dealer I ordered from has never shown incoming anything. But then there's other dealers that display every incoming custom order on their website. The Bronco world was littered with people upset that their special order was being shown for sale on the website.

My dealership has my truck listed on their website. Its how I got the VIN since I got no communication from FoMoCo and my sales rep never got my the VIN despite saying he would. That dude is making it really hard to not be salty about this.

So, first, thanks for this info from way earlier in the threads. Although I just placed my order April 18th (confirmed by Ford same day), will any of these dates correlate, or are these more meant for those bought in Q1 of 22?.

If we all - or anyone - had a crystal ball to know! Seriously, this Is just a validation that they will be scheduling truck for those actual production dates. Whether your truck gets scheduled or not is based on a lot of factors, which could be commodities that are available or back-ordered, scheduled delivery date for needed parts, dealer allocations for the month, priority at your dealer and maybe even more. Your dealer maybe able to tell you if your build is ‘clean’, meaning no commodity holds.

There are folks here like me waiting since mid-February while others that didn’t order until March have already been scheduled, as well as those who have been waiting longer than that!

In observation, it does seem that similar colors get grouped together, as well as similar trim packages. And it seems that Shadow Black SuperCab Lariats never get scheduled, but I may be a bit of a conspiracy theorist on that.

ive already got a room filled with tires, suspension upgrades, hood bugshield, step bars, floor mats, and an engine cover. ive got my eye on the ford performance grill and a tri-fold cover, but i dont know where i would put em. id like to take a moment to thank this website for moving me incrementally closer to bankruptcy. note to ford.......BUILD MY EFFING TRUCK!


edit. forgot about the console tray and led fog bulbs in the foyer closet. foyer........makes me sound rich, dont it?

It does make you sound rich that’s why the wife and I found a house with a vestibule. I know the feeling I have parts for the Ranger and I have parts for the hot rod. The garage looks like it exploded.

I have Ranger XL Supercab with FX4 package on order. Originally had Bronco Base on order, but with the news of latest delays, I switched my order with a base Ranger instead.

• February 14th - Ranger ordered.
• February 16th - Order confirmed, scheduled for production week of April 18th.

I'm hoping it stays on schedule, but after reading about transportation delays in this thread, now I'm not so sure. I was hoping to see it in May.

Sometime during week of April 11th, order status changed to "in production". April 21st actual date appeared on "in production" on the progress bar.

Next message came April 26th "vehicle has been built", then about an hour later "vehicle has been shipped".

Oops: April 27th - ETA has changed & "require additional time" to ensure complete satisfaction. ?

I did hear from salesman today that it has shipped & is in Illinois. Mine is XL Supercab without sliding rear window, no start/stop or spray-in bedliner(does have STX packages + FX4).

I have a shadow black scheduled. Lariat 501a package. Ordered March 7 and originally scheduled for May 16. It is now scheduled for May 23rd. Just confirming black and lariats are being scheduled.

Received an email last night.

"Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of April 10, 2022, and April 16, 2022, has been updated to between April 22, 2022, and April 28, 2022."

I am fully confident the actual delivery date is in the future but less so for hitting the new window.

Ford completely missed the new delivery window they set for themselves. The truck has not shipped anywhere as of 3 May so it has been sitting in a lot for a month after build was complete.

While, I'm happy for shadow blacks, cyber orange lariat tremors with tow and 501a are not ?
