Order Track tells me there are 9 it knows about in transit right nowI see the ordertrack climed to 63 this week and dropped to 58 today for the awaiting shipping trucks. Does that mean they are starting to clean out the parking lot.
Yea yours is in transit, mine is in the batch that is awaiting shipping.Order Track tells me there are 9 it knows about in transit right now![]()
Don't want to bust your bubble but mine is in shipped also and they gave me a date of April 28th. Now they have moved it to June 6th. It is going by rail to SLC through Denver. I guess it must be in a rail car sitting in Michigan.Ford Tracking jumped from "In Production" to "Shipped" over the weekend. Sounds like it actually got on a rail car out to Denver. Though Order Track doesn't have anything populated in it's shipping section. I had the fortune of an order priority of 10 from the get go.
Maybe my sales rep was on to something when he told me May 2nd.... Now if I could only get him to pick up the damned phone so I could ask
They gave me the same date. But I had no faith that it would actually make it to the dealership by then when they emailed me last Sunday. Was just good to know they still know it’s still setting there. I was worried that the electronic shipping notification had got lost between the plant and the shipping company, till I finally got a rescheduled email.Don't want to bust your bubble but mine is in shipped also and they gave me a date of April 28th. Very similar to my day as I spoke to my dealership also. They noted the closing of orders. He reiterated what's been said in the thread a few times, that they typically send out scheduled production dates on Thursdays. So here's to another Thursday crossing my fingers. I ordered with dealership on 3/3 (Thursday morning) and received confirmation morning of 3/4.I spoke with my salesman today and he did confirm that the order bank will be shutdown at the end of the month and reopen in September in order to catch up with the backlog of orders that the plants have. He told me to be patient that I did get my order in for production this year. I ordered on February 23 and received confirmation same day. He better be right or heads will roll!!!
Thanks Ranger Girl. As of right now don't have a rail car number. I'll try and get one from my dealer.I got this information from one of the other forums (can't remember which one). If you have already seen it just ignore this.
I was able to track my ranger during shipment using the following:
If shipping by rail it seems to ship from plant by CSX. If you have the train car number from dealer TTGX........ you can call 1-800-235-2352 and using the voice automated system ask for "location" and it give you an idea of where it is, what was last station departed/arrived etc.
Mine then got switched to Union Pacific in Chicago and by calling 1-800-877-5123 and using their automated system ask for "trace". This one I couldn't get a good location from but was able to get the ETA at "industry" which is last rail yard.
You can track the same rail car number using both CSX and UP (once it is transferred to UP). Between the two it gives you a pretty accurate progress on shipping.
Just trying to be helpful, I found it pretty interesting keeping track of where my truck was once it shipped.
