i dont like making phone calls so i got on their online chat. waited about 15 minutes, gave my request and info, and was told the last update was 2/22/2022. which coincidentally was the day i received my order confirmation. faulk shitt!

What does the online trackers advise? Have you checked them? You have your order number and vin, correct?

no email from stealership or ford, so no vin. priority code 19 so maybe thats affecting things?

I would say that it has not been scheduled for production yet.

There is a forum over at blueoval that a ford employee will help track the status of your order, if you follow the rules.

Or if you call the number they will tell you the status as far as scheduled or unscheduled and clean or some type of commodity hold. (all information your dealer should be able to tell you as well, btw.)

Priority code 19 is specific to your dealer's priority for Ford Rangers, so you could also ask them to bump you to a 10.

I ordered mine on the 2/17 and still waiting for scheduling for production, and then VIN as well.

I got a great deal on a Leer hard fold cover (and a bedrug), whch I wanted since it has stops and does not lean against the cab or no bumpers have to be installed to prevent rubbing the paint on the cab. Now I am wondering if I will end up being bumped to a 23MY since I am still unscheduled - clean. Jinxed it buying before the truck was scheduled, but the deal was too good...

Now I'm being told June 6th rather than April 28th. I called Ford support again. I asked her that it was just sitting in Michigan in a lot for 6 weeks. She said no that it had been shipped but the hold up is when it gets to destination getting it on a convoy to the dealer. I told her my dealer was picking it up at rail yard. She said it might come faster who knows. This really sucks if that is the case it will be over 7 months from time of order to pick it up.

I think they will probably start taking orders in the US for 2023 MY later this year (Aug? Sep?) I thought I saw somewhere that the first production week for MY2023 for the US was sometime January 2023.

My dealer told me the reason for closing the Ranger order banks this early in the year was to be able to produce more Broncos on the line and fulfill nearly 100% of Ranger orders for MY2022 at the same time.

They are closing it too (my theory) because they're running out of parts to remove from the '22!!! =D
