They provide a small lift, maybe half an inch. Ford claims .8" SUSPENSION LIFT, but that is from the media teams getting confused with the additional tire height.
Yeah, it's closer to .5 from suspension and the rest is tire.

Not much of a build lol. Originally its a 2019 Lariat fx4 tech, tow, sport, tri metallic platinum/ bone colored leather supercrew and a 3 year lease. I only added weather tech floor mats, con agra trifold bed cover, Rhino spray liner bed spray and bed rug for the first 2 years.

Realized I loved the truck and bought it so I upgraded the suspenion with Eiback 2.0 coilover and extended shocks with 1" blocks in rear. 2 1/2" front and 1" rear lift. Cooper Wild Trek 265/70/17. Just recently upgraded the fogs with Diode Dynamic amber pros which Im totally in love with.

Hopefully soon my Rocky Road Outfitter sliders with kickouts will be here soon that I ordered in January and once welded to the frame and rust under coating I will be done....maybe?

I will have no doubt it can play follow the leader with any stock Tremor offroad.?
That said I would have bought a Tremor package had it been available and in Platinum in 2019.

Sorry for lenghty post but it is relevant to the OP
The primary reason I ordered the FX4 over the Tremor was the Bone colored interior. We frequent some pretty hot high desert locations and lighter is better for everything in that environment. I have read enough that the Tremor is a no brainer upgrade compared to the FX4, but the "any color seats you want, as long as they are black" made me take the detour. There are other things I like about the Lariat/FX4 starting point over the Tremor like no shin scraper steps and no red gills in the grill, but those things really aren't major items one way or the other.

I do think there is value in using the Ford engineering to get closer to the off road manners of the Tremor, that is why I am trying to understand the technical differences versus the marketing jargon. I will upgrade to something closer to the Tremor over time, I just like to separate the real bits from the marketing jargon, before I start. ;)

Anyway, thanks for the insights, I like your truck a lot.

I have an Fx4 supercab. I would have considered a Tremor if they came in a supercab. So far I have upgraded the suspension with the Ford/Fox 2.0 setup. Huge difference in handling. Still can be bouncy which I attribute to the 2 leaf spring pack that comes stock. I'm going to look into upgrading the leaf pack at some point down the road.

The thing about tremor vs fx4 is tremor is best kept stock otherwise you are just wasting your money on stuff you are going to swap, fx4 is best if you plan to do suspension upgrades tires etc
I'd argue standard 4x4 with locker is best if upgrading for the same reason. Why pay extra for shocks, tires, and a skid plate you're going to remove? The only thing you wouldn't be pulling off the FX4 would be the terrain management and I'd venture to guess that the true off-roaders (I'm certainly not among them - flatlander here) probably won't use that as much.

100% agree that Tremor package should be available on a super cab. That would've be my ideal choice.

I know a number of guys that have various forms of terrain management, that also are pretty hard core rock crawlers and most think it is pretty good stuff. I think for just about all of them they started with an attitude that all they needed was 4L and locker(s), but after using the SW help think it does make the sticker situations easier.

We do a lot of off road stuff but it honestly is more overlanding than anything serious rock crawling wise. Before our current Jeep, all we had was a 4x4 half ton pickup with a locker and good AT hides and we never didn't get anywhere we wanted to go. So for our needs, the Tremor ride manners is far more important than the ability to do a very technical trail so we can say we did it.

Knowing myself, I know our FX4 will end up with at least the shocks and springs as well as a set of bigger K02's (my all time favorite AT tire).

I think you missed the context of the discussion. @OHTREMOR posted that if someone were to drive the three suspension options back to back, the difference in ride between them would be obvious. My comment was that wasn't possible here as Rangers are usually sold before they come off the truck. So finding a Lariat, Lariat FX4 and Lariat Tremor on the same lot at the same time around here was pretty unlikely.

The dealer I recently ordered my '22 from is one of the biggest Ford dealers in the state. During fat times they had upwards of 500 cars and trucks on the lot. Last week when I visited the dealer, they had 7 cars and trucks total for sale on the lot, zero Rangers.

I think Cyber Orange is a pretty popular color here, although not the color I ordered. :)
Good point. I was lucky that I could drive all within a 15 mile ride of my house and only visit two dealers. The dealer I bought my Tremor from always seems to be able to get inventory.

Agreed on the red grille inserts. Mine are pulled and will be painted to match the grille surround. Also pulled off the decals and added some raptor style running boards. These were all changes I could easily do myself. I had no desire to do suspension work but if you are able and willing you can build a sweet truck as many have done here on the forum. Good luck and hope you find a good deal on whatever you choose.

I tried search, but like always, I am hopelessly bad at using the tool, so...

I have been told the Tremor package includes Fox shocks and different leaf springs.

I have also been told the Tremor package only is the Fox shocks (over the FX4).

Just talking about the suspension, not wheel, tires and other cosmetic stuff.

Anyone know for sure?
So suspension related that I could come up with here are the changes.

-Fox OEM shocks, so fronts are not threaded and the rear have a remote reservoir. So, better than the fox 2.0 kit but in a way sucks that the bodies are not threaded.
--Called Fox, supposedly these are tuned differently than the original 2.0 kit for the Ranger
-Rear progressive multi-leaf setup
-Driveshaft has CV joint instead of U joint in the rear
-supposedly softer sway bars for articulation
-supposedly something different with the knuckle

Other changes not made obvious
-recently learned that the alternator could be higher AMP rated due to the aux switches

All the other stuff marketing made known.

To me the package is well worth it in just the fox shocks and rear leafs along with the nicer interior all covered under warranty. I feel like the Tremor is so stable going fast in dirt, I wish I had the chance to drive a stock FX4 with same tires to compare though.

I came from the lifted suv crossover crowd so.... haha. I won't knock my Pilot, gave me miles of off-road camping fun but that is a whole other topic.

Wow, that is a beautiful truck.

I can do the work myself (3 6' roll around tool boxes... ;)), with the exception of the alignment, which I actually have the tools to do (decades of road racing), but just isn't worth the work compared to the cost of having professionals do it for me. You got to draw the line somewhere. :)

Yeah sport 4x4 where you still get skid plates is perfect for me terrain management would be fun to have but its not necessary tho the inclinometer screen would be really great to have. I don't have fx4 I just have the locker and I ended up swapping the suspension and wheels and uca's anyway so I am not essentially double buying it.

I believe you can turn the inclinometer on via FORscan..

Also I think you can retrofit TC and TM.

Not easily but I believe members have done it here.
