So I was reading on the bronco6g forum about this app, and how the creator put it together. Seems really to be a labor of love. But if I remember correctly the 'similar' vehicles have to do with the first 8 characters of the VIN, so probably the Type of truck, where it is built and possibly the trim level.Right there with you.

It has been 4 weeks since my order was built.Well, today's my day, well the next step anyway. I got my "Is built" email from Ford with an overly optimistic delivery date. I'll take that with a big grain of salt but I'm pretty thrilled to see it going through the process.

And I don't know if this is 100% correct, but I let my sales guy know that it was built and that he'd soon be getting updates and he said that was correct and that he'll let me know when it's in Massachusetts.

That is some picture! I wasn't aware that Ayer was a hub our trucks might go through. I'm about 25 minutes from there and am in the area for work often. I reached out to my dealer for an update and the only info he saw in his system for mine was "shipping delay". No other details according to him. So I did a quick google and found the Ayers rail yard, also sometimes referred to as the Ford Motor Rail Yard. It's an automotive yard that can hold like 240 rail cars and had acres and acres of new car parking.

Ugh on the slipping delivery date, so close and yet so frustrating! Dang, I'd go nuts being that close to where it might be headed. Portsmouth is not that far away but enough to I just have to accept whatever the inevitable delay will be going from rail to truck, bah!

Check with your dealer to see if they have the VIN or are getting emails. I have never received an email from Ford. Ended up getting the VIN from my dealer and just track it myself.
The only email I received was the order confirmation the same day I ordered
