So most of y’all read my post recently that I have experienced the weird truck shut down issue. (Won’t start, lights flashing different warnings, check engine light, etc.)
Several people suggested I get the battery checked by the dealer to see what could be the issue.
Well I called a local dealer about 20 miles from where I live that I trust and asked if they could look at my truck. The service rep was very nice but said, skeleton crew today and would be next week until they could look at it.
No problem totally understand. Told him I would call back.
OK, so today I am near my dealer that I bought the truck from and I thought maybe I could stop by and just ask what they could do. Maybe they have an opening and they would be able to look at my truck. They do not have the best reputation. They are fairly new and bought out the previous dealer that has been in business for decades.
Well, they are too busy and it will take 2 or 3 days to look at the truck and they have no loaners. I told them no thanks I will check back later.
Well the service advisor says to make sure I hurry up because my warranty goes out in July. They had my wrong warranty date in the system. So now the finance manager has to call FORD and get it fixed. I was so disappointed. Never heard of this before?
