Woohoo! Just got the sticker for "Soupie" (sorry Ranger Pride, I know you don't like named trucks but I'm not planning a damper, yet, and I certainly despise kale and I'm not much of a tofu fan - besides, I'm also Canadian - so you and I share a mutual love and devotion to Her Majesty). =D

Sticker showed up during the night with a blend date of the 11th and shipping by rail.

Thank you everyone for all the advice (here and other threads). =)

Good thing it's getting built, I have seat covers, hitch pin, floor liners, and the Wolf Haus power thing waiting for it!

It's also cool that Paul's tracker shows that "4 other trucks are being tracked with the same status".

I agree, are they the same exact packages? Or just supercabs, or some sorted date by order?

Mine's really bare bones:

Race Red XL SCAB 2-wheel drive 101a
Tow package and carpet floor

Now you'd think that being mature (ie, an old fart) that I'd be patient and one with the world. Well, the heck with that.

Just now, the nifty order tracker made by John shows my SCAB "in production" but the Ford one doesn't!

Argh, I don't want to get my hopes up (but I am spazzing out) - the build date was supposed to be 4/11 but I took that with a grain of salt, but could it actually be moving forward!?!

Waiting sucks! At 6 years old or 60!!! =p
I had a buddy with access to an internal ford database. He was feeding my info that was way more detailed than Ford had on their public facing tracker. Heck the tracker estimated a delivery date that ended up getting cut down by 4 days or so.

Other people have noted the public facing Ford tracker can be slow to update if at all. I had it stall at the 'in production' phase before it sped passed a step to 'shipped.'

Good luck on all of yall waiting. Its worth the wait!

Hmm, so both are 2WD SCabs with tow packages. The rest is so different! Lariat vs. XL and 501A vs. 101A.

I guess it all just means that you and I can look forward to lots of Ranger fun for the summer! =)

According to my co-worker, SCABs and SCREWs are going down the line at approximately the same rate. But Broncos are dominating production rates.

Quick update from my end.

- Order placed on Feb 1
- Original build date April 4
- New Build date April 11

This morning I checked and I have a window sticker with a blend date of 4/12!

Talked to my dealer and he said it usually takes 8 weeks to ship so expect it in June. I'm in Colorado. 8 weeks seems dreadfully long!!

My dealer checks the internal order track every couple days for me. Been sitting a month in a lot at the factory waiting to get shipped. If it doesn't get shipped by June I might just say the hell with it and buy my 2019 off of lease and shop around with others brands. I bleed blue and I'll give them 90 days to ship it, but we are at 30 with no movement so I'm doubtful they will have my built truck shipped to me by June.

Well my truck was scheduled for a delivery window of 3/30-4/4. The dealer confirmed delivery should occur by 4/4, though it might be earlier. It is now 4/6 and I just spoke with the dealer…no truck. The dealer indicated he doesn’t know when the truck will arrive, but he will contact me when he learns anything.

Time to go to the ‘mater stand and ponder what direction the future takes.

I should clarify that the dealer indicated they did receive 3 fleet service Rangers in the truck drop this morning. I think he said they were Scabs, but I’m not positive.

Ordered 2/11 and got my confirmation on 2/16. Nothing since then. Just a waiting game.
Same for me 2/17 order, 2/18 confirmation - nada since (SCAB 100A)

I ordered mine on March 5th and immediately got the email telling me my order is confirmed. Shouldn't I be hearing something soon? Will it be delayed more because I asked for certain things?

2022 Ranger LARIAT Supercrew® 4X2:
  • 2.3L Ecoboost® Engine
  • Electronic Ten-Speed Automatic Transmission
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic
  • Ebony Leather-Trimmed Bucket Front Seats

Whether it's a SCAB, SCREW, spray in, no spray in, blue, silver, etc really has no bearing on the schedule. There is very little difference in all these details to make a huge scheduling difference. That being said, should there be a shortage of blue paint, then YES, there will be a delay similar to the chip shortage. Your specific vehicle may get bumped down, and someone else's may get bumped up.
;)
FORD gets most of its parts from suppliers, so unless a supplier is delaying something, most of all these vehicles are scheduled accordingly. Right now the average seems to be about 16-18 weeks (plus or minus) from order to delivery. It is not set in stone!!!! Before the pandemic/chip shortage, the average wait was 12 weeks. There are people here with more waiting time than others, and some got lucky enough to wait less. It appears the vehicles are created in batches. I assume once FORD gets enough parts to make a certain batch, they schedule it out. SCABs are not as popular, and SPLASH or Tremors are limited runs as well. Tie all that in with chip shortage, supply chain delays, transportation issues, etc. FORD is juggling a lot. And don't forget...this is just the Ranger. They have other models to deal with similar issues. Add in the people who were on the cusp of the 21-22 year, plus the people who will be on the 22-23 (new model) year there will be delays and issues during those transitions as well.

Brent,
You just ordered your vehicle, so chill!! You have plenty of time until you will be notified. If you received your order confirmation from FORD, you will eventually get more notifications. They have your info.
