Jim, it's really sad the shape this country's in right now. There's a lot of crap that went into screwing things up, and I'll just leave it at that. I keep hoping that one day this nightmare will end, and things will get back to normal. And not that new normal that our idiot politicians talk about. I'm in the process of trying to order my '22, and I dread dealing with the wait. I just hope I don't fall into the same situation I have with my Bronco order. Good luck, I hope you hear something soon.
I think you'll get it quicker than the Bronco unless you ordered their cookie cutter model they're pushing on everyone.
I do fear that my Ranger will get delivered very close to when the Gen 6 model will be available to order. I don't want or even like the Gen 6 but it'll just be the point of it.
My Ranger is built, but, been awaiting shipment for over a week at this point.

I’ve had my order in for a SuperCab FX4 since Feb 28. Order confirmation, that’s it.
I’ll be more patient if/when I receive acknowledgment that it will be built.
I just got a response on the blueoval forum that there was no update in status, meaning that mine is still unscheduled (and it is marked clean, which I understand to mean there are NO commodity holds). I know I have seen Ford can schedule any day of the week, but this week Rangers are not on the production release fro scheduling, so I would guess it may be another 4-5 weeks until the next round of scheduling.

I have seen a couple postings on why the delay on the SuperCabs (or any of the Rangers). Seems to be commodities, the backseat fixed headrest recall (specific to the SuperCab), Auto Start/Stop, and then any other commodities. The only other item, and not exactly sure how this plays in, is the specific dealer allocation and if there are any 'in front' of you (previously ordered at the dealer) that may exceed their allocation for the month and push your back to the next round. But then, I have also seen that retail orders may not be subject to those same rules.

Talked to my dealer, and they had no idea what could be the specific hold up. The only thing he could say is Ford seems to prioritize SuperCrews, but he doesn't think that is really the case, just that there is less of a demand for SuperCabs. Still, on A Retail order, I would think it may not matter which Cab is specified.

Soo, I got my order confirmation email from ford on march 12. I haven't heard anything else from them. How long did Y'all wait for your "scheduled for production" email?
I was scheduled in about a week. My options and progress dates are in my signature. Everything has been way, way faster than I imagined it would be.

That makes sense. The week of 2/14 Ford released the production scheduling for end of March and April, and If I understand the scheduling that would mean that the week of 2/18, they would have been scheduling those 5 weeks, so you slipped in just under the wire to be included in the bucket to be scheduled.

I was a week late for that round, and for whatever reason was not included in this latest round. :frown:

Based on what I have seen, I would think that the next round of scheduling may be the week of 4/15 for June Production dates.

However - I have seen the stray comment that someone got a scheduled for production email randomly during a non-scheduling week, so who REALLY knows.

I've been built for a month this Thursday and still has not shipped. Ford Credit is pretty freely extending leases right now, but I am out of bumper to bumper 3/36 warranty after Apr. 13th. I started with a 2 month one for now. I have heard of a very few 3-4 month shipping delays where they basically just forgot about a vehicle, but I hope that's not then case. What a joke.

Hey Tom - Out of curiousity, being that you leased in 2019, is your buyout below what current Market Value is?

I'm using yours as a gauge for mine being shipped. I expect it to be very similar to yours the way things are tracking right now.

True Jeff, I don't think I'll ever get my Bronco. If I go through with the Ranger order, I'll drop the Bronco order. Things are so screwed up I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm like an old woman standing in front of the "mater" stand (that's tomato for my northern friends :) ). I just don't know which to pick. :)

There are times I just want to throw up my hands, and say "screw the whole deal", just stick with what I have. A bird in the hand, and all that stuff.

Hang in there. My Scab was built on 3/9 and nothing really changed on the tracker other than indicating built. My dealer says it will be there tomorrow. If not, I’ll join you in front of the ‘mater stand.

If it offers any comfort, the local Toyota dealer has 26 Tacomas in “inventory”. They have all been “in transit” since February.

I ordered an XLT SCAB 300A on 3/30. Got an email from ford on 3/31 that I was scheduled for production 5/23. I was impressed and didn't expect that. Unfortunately my family took a vote and said I was an a-hole for ordering the SCAB and they all wanted a SCREW. So I talked to the dealer and they were ok with placing another order (today 4/4). They said the SCREW's do take longer because of demand so we'll see.

Good luck on that SCAB Andy. We do enjoy ours, but thought a SCREW would help with a little more room. I'm beginning to think I don't need the extra room if I can convince the wife to pack lighter........yeah I know. I ain't gonna say anything to her. :giggle:

Ordered 2/11 and got my confirmation on 2/16. Nothing since then. Just a waiting game.
