I’ve got a class a cdl.. let’s just rent a car carrier truck and go pick up all our trucks and drop them off at the dealers for ford. We’d all have our new trucks by now.
The manufacturers should have an option to do this. With the shipping delays and labor shortages it's a logistical nightmare right now. There are many on the Jeep forum who've been waiting 6+ weeks for theirs to ship.

I realize they'd have to figure a way out for the PDI to be done but even that could be done at the factory. If we can trust them to put it together I think they're more than capable of doing the PDI. Lets face it, most dealers to a lousy job at this anyways!

I'm still awaiting shipment from March 10th. I did a lease extension on my 2019 to June 13th. Hopefully I won't have to extend any further then that. A month just sitting there at the factory is ridiculous. Likely just forgotten on a back lot by this point.
Just think, when you finally get it you can put a classic license plate on it and save on taxes.

The status never changes. I'm thinking I'm never going to see this truck.

Hmm. Well here’s to hoping there are some useful status updates tomorrow for those of us in shipping limbo.

The dealer I have mine ordered through has a couple rangers in "transit" for the past 2 weeks. Not gonna lie, mildly concerns me.

The same for mine. The Rangers listed with blend dates near mine on their website have in-transit on them, but there is another dealer close that has the same ramp on them that say in-transit, but haven't even been built yet.

Maybe ford is trying to catch up with shipping all those bronco orders first? ?‍♂

Yes. There are a crap load of Broncos piled up all over the place there. It's likely some of the shipping issues is due to that.

Soo, I got my order confirmation email from ford on march 12. I haven't heard anything else from them. How long did Y'all wait for your "scheduled for production" email?

I ordered a Supercab on 2/17, confirmed 2/18, still waiting for my production email. There are others here that have been waiting longer.

Jim, it's really sad the shape this country's in right now. There's a lot of crap that went into screwing things up, and I'll just leave it at that. I keep hoping that one day this nightmare will end, and things will get back to normal. And not that new normal that our idiot politicians talk about. I'm in the process of trying to order my '22, and I dread dealing with the wait. I just hope I don't fall into the same situation I have with my Bronco order. Good luck, I hope you hear something soon.

Agree with the sad situation of our country! And it is more than just vehicles and that supply chain or fuel costs. Went to the store last night to buy ingredients to make homemade pizza for 5 adults and that was $60 for 3 16" pies. Crazy! And one was just pepperoni and cheese only, another with olives and cheese only...

Good luck on your order as well, and hopefully your Bronco order shakes free and comes through soon!
