SUPER Easy, No tools, Took like 1 min a side. You just Jam your finger up in there and release a tab. Got the lights on amazon. Youtube videos for how to.

Did a normal visit to local town. On the return trip I decided to drop by the barn hill and see how well the ranger gets there. No issues on getting to the hill, but when descending the sunny side towards the river and the bridge the ice was _slippery_.

When braking all wheels locked up instantly and the Ranger became a sledge.

Roughly 12 degree slide for some 20 meters so I just took the foot of the brake pedal and aimed to the bridge. Crossed the bridge and put it into 4wd + lockers for the 6 degree slope rise on the other side.

Outside of the "free fall" pretty easy ride.

Lucky thing I did it from that direction since it would not have climbed the other way.

I took a trip out to the dealer where I got my truck and I BOUGHT it today! I now own my Ranger outright!

Unusual but interesting day.

1. Having Covid like symptoms so got tested this AM: NEGATIVE At least know the Vac's are working.

2.Took the Ranger to the Dealer because the left front parking light not working. One filament in bulb burned out. They replaced it for free.

3.Took pic's of another Ranger in their parking lot.

4. Saw a Maverick for the 1st time and prefer the Ranger's appearance.

5. Gassed up on the way home: 88 Octane 4.699.

Went to service today. Dealer could not find any codes what so ever, has cleared by itself in the meantime. Did the speed limited verification also, dropped the papers to inspection office and now good to go for another year.

What a bunch of BS to do that for a new(er) vehicle. I get it if it's 5 years old or older, but only a couple years...

I'm ok with it as it's registered as a light commercial vehicle. The rules, regulations, license requirements and stuff are equal to a semi. And it allows larger sized payload & trailers to be used.

Registering a Ranger as a normal personal car would have the first inspection at 5 years and every two year after. But it would also add the tax.

Would you pay 50000$ tax just to avoid the yearly inspection?

Went out in the Ranger to do some errands and stopped at our favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch. Duke @DukeCanBuildit see what you're missing, you need to come back down soon. Normally I get the Chimichanga but decided today to get the Taco salad. I forgot how much you get in one of these. I'm glad we ate first because I needed the walking to wear some of this meal off. lol
