You can also use the unlock button on the door.

I think it's odd that I have a key hole on my Lariat, that doesn't need a key to start, but those that do, are missing the key hole.

Yes, I had to do that when I was recycling oil and paint during the height of Covid. They wouldn't let me out of the truck.

I've ordered a XL SCAB 100A. One of the highlighted options with the 101A package is "Remote Key Fob with Tailgate Lock."

Based on the description for the 100A, Ford lists a "Manual locking tailgate." No talk of a key fob. I did confirm it has power locks.

I never got a clear answer from the dealer, (but I ordered the key pad for lock-out situations)... anyone know:

Does the 100A come with a key fob?

I *think* it does come with a key fob that will lock and unlock the doors, but I don't think the 100A has the remote start on the keyfob (but you can use your phone and the app to remote start and unlock). When I first ordered, I also did 100A and looked into that and that's what I found online.

Someone here with a 100A will be able to confirm.

One thing that took me a while to understand is that the 100A puts the rear view camera screen in the rear view mirror and not in the 4.2 inch dashboard screen. That was a deal breaker for me (and I also didn't like the idea of manual mirrors because my wife and I will both drive it and there's a decent height difference between us, enough that neither of us can see out the mirrors when adjusted for the other). I went to 101A but $1,135 is a lot just for the rear cam change and power mirror).

Since there are many different threads on this I feel it's now worthy of a sticky. Just hit the edit button on this post to add any new additions so it keeps this thread updated.

1. no rear folding headrest
2. no hood struts(as of 2022)
3. no PRNDS light
4. no glovebox damper
5. no RANGER embossed into the Lariat seats
6. no console (pen) cubby
7. no 12V outlet in the console without 110v option
8. no bright trim rings on the 12v covers that matched the radio knobs
9. only 4 bed tie downs instead of 6 (as of mid 2019??)
10. no engine cover
11. no key slot on tailgate lock
12. no owners manual cover
13. no power folding mirrors on XLT 302A
14. Eco badge on tailgate
15. no plugs in the rocker panels
16. no ignition bezel (has always been missing)
17. steel front fenders (aluminum before) estimated after March 2021 and all 2022
18. no bright button on parking brake
19. no color keyed tailgate handle on Lariat just black plastic without chrome pkg.
20. no aluminum spindles, they're now steel
21. rear passenger doors no longer have external touch lock
22. front seat headrest tilt adjustment
23. (2) 4.2" productivity screens instrument cluster replaced with (1) 4.2" screen in Lariat 500A

Am I missing something on #13? I have power folding mirrors on my XLT 302A

The list has really grown. Now I'm not sure this was a good idea because we can all now see what's been deleted all in one line. It might have been better having 300 threads of unorganized posts. lol

Unfortunately my biggest one is the rear seats headrest fold.. I literally hardly ever have anyone sitting back there and the headrest takes up half the damn back window?

If I were you I'd keep it quiet that you have power mirrors - Ford's deletion hit team may line you up for a remediation. those guys are brutal.

Unfortunately my biggest one is the rear seats headrest fold.. I literally hardly ever have anyone sitting back there and the headrest takes up half the damn back window?

How do you take the headrests out if they don’t fold? I have a supercab and the only way to physically remove the headrest is to fold it so it doesn’t hit the headliner
