Me too, hoping for a fairly dry season so I can put more commutes on the Harley. I get lower 50's.I "detuned" to 87-89 tuning for winter an looks like I won't be going back to 91-93 anytime soon. When it's warm I do as much running around on the Harley as I can. If I ride like a normal person it get's upper 40's. Yes, it's tuned too.
Yeah and pay $5 to $10,000 over MSRP because the dealers are greedy? And of course I heard Ford is going to crack down on that but every dealer in my area is still marking things up exorbitantly I'm going to remember this when and if this shit ever ends.I only drive about 10k miles a year and can adjust so I'll survive, but the people who drive double or triple that might want to consider a Maverick Hybrid.
Wife and I are doing similar...driving on top half of tank and than filling up...still costs, but a $40 buck hit is better than $80.crybabies...i put gas in yesterday (and its set to take a big jump again soon) and it was $1.819 regular for a litre in cdn funds. 93 was well over $2
do the math, you guys in the states are still sucking it back at bargain rates.
I've decided to fill it up every 1/4 tank now so the sting is alot less when i swipe the card.
So my Ranger tremor is getting about 16 MPGs. I can get close to 20 on the highway. And yet, the Ranger doesn't get that much better mileage. My dad has a 2019 F150 3.5L, and actually gets better mileage than I do on road trips. Around town, I edge him out though. But even if you want to talk about EPA numbers.
Ranger 4x2 = 21/26/24
Ranger 4x4 = 20/24/22
F150 3.3L 4x2 = 20/24/22
F150 3.3L 4x4 = 19/22/20
F150 2.7L 4x2 = 20/24/22
F150 2.7L 4x4 = 19/24/21
F150 3.5L 4x2 = 18/24/20
F150 3.5L 4x4 = 17/23/19
F150 5.0L 4x2 = 17/24/19
F150 5.0L 4x4 = 16/22/19
F150 HEV 4x2 = 25/26/25
F150 HEV 4x4 = 24/24/24
So the stated highway fuel economy is all within 2 of the Ranger, but the city is quite a bit lacking. That HEV though... Man that seems like a good buy choice. You get additional power and torque, better fuel economy, and that power to the box...
My 21 Tremor gets about 16mpg daily driving, 20-21 highwayMy 2019 XLT FX4 does pretty good on fuel for what it is. I know that I'll be taking a bit of a hit especially on the highway with the 2022 Tremor I ordered, but again with my use it won't be terrible.
That would double us to about $8 a gallon. How long can the economy handle that? I'm thinking not very long at all.Not good for any of us...
