Same. I only drive my truck when I go off roading or go somewhere with the family which is like once a week. I daily drive my 2015 Ford Fiesta sedan SE to work.

Post is kinda lighthearted but may very well become reality. Tune with 93 grade has halted my Ranger drive time in half and used more as a driveway decoration
LOL, my daughter posted something about 93 drivers and checking in on them. I just replied something along the lines of guess what octane the tune on the Ranger requires.

Even better, going to Time Trail at CMP and then Sebring later this month. I hope prices drop, otherwise will be one hell of a gas bill towing there and back.

No support group needed. I have been stuck at home for way to long and if I want to joy ride, I will. I've only got 14k mi and had the Ranger since Nov. 2019 so I got a lot of $ saved since i havent been driving much. Bring it on!

No worries here. My 2017 civic 6 speed manual gets 41-44 mpg highway all day long

I "detuned" to 87-89 tuning for winter an looks like I won't be going back to 91-93 anytime soon. When it's warm I do as much running around on the Harley as I can. If I ride like a normal person it get's upper 40's. Yes, it's tuned too.

Small trucks like Rangers are viewed as gas savers. Big trucks like an F150, gas hogs. I’m waiting for the market to crash on full size trucks and then I’ll simply trade my Ranger in, even swap for what use to be a $60K F150 Lol. Ok, pipe dream but never say never. Of course when the market rebounds, trade back in for a tidy profit on a new Ranger. ;)

And yet, the Ranger doesn't get that much better mileage. My dad has a 2019 F150 3.5L, and actually gets better mileage than I do on road trips. Around town, I edge him out though. But even if you want to talk about EPA numbers.

Ranger 4x2 = 21/26/24
Ranger 4x4 = 20/24/22

F150 3.3L 4x2 = 20/24/22
F150 3.3L 4x4 = 19/22/20
F150 2.7L 4x2 = 20/24/22
F150 2.7L 4x4 = 19/24/21
F150 3.5L 4x2 = 18/24/20
F150 3.5L 4x4 = 17/23/19
F150 5.0L 4x2 = 17/24/19
F150 5.0L 4x4 = 16/22/19
F150 HEV 4x2 = 25/26/25
F150 HEV 4x4 = 24/24/24

So the stated highway fuel economy is all within 2 of the Ranger, but the city is quite a bit lacking. That HEV though... Man that seems like a good buy choice. You get additional power and torque, better fuel economy, and that power to the box...

I've been using Costco but they also broke the $5/g barrier earlier this week. Still happy with my Ranger though as I'm averaging 21mpg combined.

And super glad I traded my lifted GMC canyon (with 33s) which was doing 15mpg. That being said, I own a 2015 Nissan Versa for crisis like this ! Looks like I'm be back to the Versa this week for work commute.

Ive only used my 93 tune a couple of times. It stays on the 87 tune. It's still better then stock and I don't really need premium.

I drove a 94 Firehawk and my 2005 gto, so a combined 20 plus years of using premium and it never bothered me.

My track car gets double the MPG of my Ranger, so I'll probably just drive it more. It is registered, just very loud and uncomfortable.
