Looking for suggestions on how to keep things from sliding around on Line-X spray in liner. My last truck, Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 had a factory spray in liner with a surface that seemed to keep things in the bed from sliding around whether wet or dry. Fast forward to today and I was hauling some of the same things in the bed of my Ranger with the Line-X and it started raining. It was like everything was on ice. I had to stop and try to tie everything in place. Hate to add a rubber mat after paying for the spray in.

No experience here other than I would contact the shop that did your Line-X and see what they say.

I put a Black Armor bed mat in mine. Easier to kneel on, things don't slide, and I won't scratch up stuff I'm hauling.

Everything is slick when wet...rubber liner will be the same...only thing that would work is traction tape like material with grit embedded...

I use the Ford "Tough Bed" OEM spray-in but always keep it covered with a rubberized mat, which both protects the sprayed bed and helps keep stuff from sliding around. I also leave the Ford Accessories bed net hooked up, and so anything I want to put in the back is held down from above as well. This is just my personal preference for the bed, and it works great for me. What do you have against rubber mats? Sure, it is an added expense, but it protects your investment in the spray-in, which costs a lot more...

The mat I bought has the fake diamond plate pattern and is an anti-slip compound. It gets wet but isn't slippery when it is.

Yeah they stick like glue. lol With my Ranger I have a tonneau cover so it stays dry. All my F150's were left open with a mat on top of a bed liner and I never had any problems with stuff sliding around when wet. The only time it would get slick is when it snowed and froze inside the bed. Then it was like a skating rink. ?

Don't really have anything against a rubber mat, just looking to see if others had successfully used another option. I've used a rubber mat before in prior trucks without spray in liners and they worked well wet and dry.

Just as one more note - On my previous Ranger I had a spray in liner but I also had a rubber mat. Same as other have said - it helped protect anything I was carrying and kept stuff from slipping around -it also made it easier to crawl around in the bed. This time around I changed things a bit - I have a tonneau cover with a BedRug in it which I've been really happy with.
