I ordered my Ranger March 8, got my VIN from the Dealer’s 1 or 2 weeks ago. The tracker site says “processing” & shows delivery date of June 9. It does not show a build or blend date. When I stopped by the lot Saturday, the salesman said they were building my truck & they would check today to find out the delivery date and text or call me. Nothing. I called today & my call was not returned. I’m just wondering if it’s been built or will soon be. I realize I haven’t been waiting all that long, just curious. My VIN is1FTER4FH8KLA43745. @Pioneer74, if you could shed any light on this, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Plug in your VIN. It says it is in production with an ETA of 5/23. The blend date on your window sticker is 5/9, so it looks like it will be done in a couple more days.

It's not scheduled to be built until May 16th.

Yep. It's in Riverdale IL.
Flood water from the Mississippi River may be holding it up in Riverdale. If the train has to go through Davenport IA, the tracks are under 2-3 feet of flood water. The Mississippi set a record high of 22.7' there on Thurs.

That is not good news but nothing compared to what the people there are going through.

Dealer called and truck came in this afternoon. Picked it up this evening. Supercab.

Came in 14 days early, but not surprising since there was over three weeks allocated to shipping by truck a distance of 90 miles. The dealer said he put a rush on the truck hauling part of the journey and that seemed to have helped.

Many thanks to @rangerdanger for doing this thread so I could better handle the 3 month,7 day wait.
And for @Pioneer74 for his tracking help and letting me know it arrived at the CSX vehicle distribution center a week ago so I could get the dealer to rush it over.

The railroad tried to keep freight moving by raising the tracks near the river 20", but the mighty Mississippi and Mother Nature had other ideas.

Dealer said my order was submitted on 9th April with a 'priority' code (I'm assuming the same everyone else has mentioned theirs being ordered with). I've checked back several times to see if a VIN has been issued with the answer always being 'Not yet but should be soon...' (original estimate from the dealer was 2-3 weeks for a VIN and probably 8, maybe 10 weeks to deliver - even though from the comments here I'm expecting more like 12-16wks).

So the dealer calls me a couple weeks ago saying he got an email back from Ford requesting more information (some of which he already had, the rest he couldn't answer hence the phone call). He said the requested information included my middle name, home address and what make/model vehicle I'm currently driving. We were both a little perplexed because even he didn't know how any of that would make two bits of difference related to an order being built and shipped to a dealer but we completed the request and returned it none-the-less.

I'm just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience or if there's any significance to it? I'm right at 30 days since order submitted and still don't have a VIN - does that sound on par with the rest of the members' ordering experiences?
