Sorry Folks. This is where I leave you. Took delivery today, and so I must exit the order purgatory and take my place as a full patch member of Ranger5G.

Haha. Joking aside, here she is….

Ordered my Lariat Tremor November 8...and all I have so far is a VIN. Since I am in Canada, I can't track it. I have bought several small goodies to go on right away. Yes I got a dampner...as my name says...I'm old. Worked at Ford for 38+ years. My plans are:
ARE CX Revo cap, painted Magnetic to stand out a little bit.
MagnaFlow cat back in black.
Full Mishimoto, air box, pipes, catch can
Krown undercoating, as I plan on keeping this, and I live near Windsor, home of Windsor Salt!!!
No tune, as I can't justify the premium gas.
When the tires wear out, Fabtech bars, Air Design flares, and 285's

Received an email this morning stating that my XLT Tremor is built! Now I just gotta wait for these "final inspections" and for it to ship out. I live around 2 hours from Detroit, so it shouldn't be too long. I just don't know how long until its actually on a truck and on its way...

Ordered: 12/16
Confirmation Email: 12/17
Production Schedule Email: 2/17
Schedule Date: 3/28 w/vin
Super Cab XLT, FX2 w/locker, tow
I had deleted spray in bedliner and auto start/stop earlier this month.
Deleting the ASS feature was never an option for me. I ordered on 01/15/22:crying: I would have eliminated that feature in a heartbeat. THOSE are the features that FORD can cut back on, not heated seats or mirrors. Yes, I know its EPA required...blah blah blah....but its obviously not THAT required if customers are allowed to eliminate it. It would just save me from programing it out later or getting one of the gadgets to remember to keep it off.

Glad you got a schedule date :like:

What direction are you two hours away?

What did they remove that from??
Apparently the heated seats are being eliminated on some or all option packages...this has been somewhat confirmed on another thread here as well. I guess FORD is saving a chip by eliminating that but adding heating to outside mirrors (at least in the XLT 302A packages). Lariat models both come standard, yet no confirmation of what was added in place of the heated seats or anything. Again....it seems to be a "silent" move on FORDs part at this moment. Not sure if effects all trims/models, some, or all. ??:headbang:

Wow..that doesn't even make sense. I'm so confused ha. I was just discussing this on a different thread too and was given some build seet information that showed heated seats are on the lariat, and optional on the XLT according to Ford. Along with heated mirrors. So do you mean to tell me that Ford is removing options that people have already paid for on their specified ordered trucks??? Thats REALLY a turnoff if that's the case.

Yes, it looks like they ARE changing some options. Again, that other thread should have more info.

Other manufacturers are doing this too. Jeep has been deleting certain options like floor mats and then the dealer is either crediting them back or you can wait for them to get shipped at a later date. Floor mats I could care less about but don't delete my heated seats.

Can you comment on here on whether your 22 Lariat still came with heated seats and mirrors? Or the ASS? Seems FORD was eliminating/changing some options during production, could you elaborate for us still waiting for ours to be built? Thanks in advance, and hope you enjoy the ride

I don't think many of us can help you with that here. We're mostly in North America with a few folks being from Euro, Asian, and African markets. This thread primarily folks from the US so you're build & availability will differ a lot from what we have access too. Sounds like a neat build regardless. I miss my manual car so much though. Would be hard not to order if we were offered that transmission here.

Good luck with your build.
