That's your issue you didn't fill the tank.

you left warm humid air, and alcohol in a metal air tight tank.

I do the same preseason start and run, I even turn off the fuel valve and let the carb run dry, but while that is doing that I top the tank off to full.

No air, less moisture,no ice.

Empty tanks get condensation which freezes. Alcohol takes a lot colder temps than the bulk the 48 states received last month to freeze.

Lesson always keep your tank topped up with gas in cold winter. never let it run dry.

Yes good point, haste makes waste I rushed through as I was preoccupied and didn’t think it through.

Here's a video from someone who lives nearby. Notice them working on a few Broncos and having the red tool boxes sitting on customers hoods. I guess they figure the ice and snow will protect the finish.

Possible but you'd think they'd bring them inside to work on them unless there's other things they're waiting to instal. They still should have some consideration for other peoples Broncos and not lay these right on the hood.

But I guess it's ok seeing as they're all frozen. ?

they would have to run to bring them in to work on lol. lots of dead batteries in that lot id bet. wonder if they are driving around in someones broncos or if they drove a company owned bronco to the lot... maybe they are actually removing parts!

I really would like to see the supply chain issues clear up for good, but I know that is wishful thinking. Wouldn't mind picking up a 2 door manual trans with the swatch package eventually.
