Really sorry to hear that. Bad looking wreck. Hoping you are OK and didn't sustain any serious injuries! This is a good wake up call to remind us that there are these kind of dangerous drivers out there.

Well guys, I'm not sure what the damage to the windshield was from. I thought after looking at the pics that is was from the outside in but it was from something that looked like a corner of something. Didn't have too much in the truck that could have flown around that was hard enough to cause something like that. Still a mystery. I went and got all of the remaining stuff from it and now it belongs to USAA.

Glad to hear you are ok. Better Fridays ahead. If the drunk driver is insured I’m guessing you will have no problem replacing your truck with a new one at no additional cost to you at the very least. They’d be lucky if that’s all it costs them. Diminished value and replacement compensation if totaled to cover the replacement difference is something you can seek.

Did you have the front crash bars? or the aftermarket crash bars. I see the right front is crushed (scary) just wondering if the crash bars or aftermarket bars did their job?

Hello all,
New here but lurking for a while.

It looks like the hood may have impacted the windshield. It looks to have released up and flipped back into that upper corner and then landed on the drivers side. Or did the emergency crew open and twist the hood back to the driver side of the vehicle for some reason?

WOW we are so glad you are OK. Sucks that they were on the road under the influence. Vehicles can be replaced but people can't. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Well, Friday was a bad day. A drunk driver pulled out in front of me on the freeway and I hit him. Did not get a change to put my ReadyLIFT SST lift kit on it. Sure going to miss her. I guess I need to look on here for a sale page for the lift.

Looks like the hood may have tagged it on its way to becoming a ball of aluminum foil.

Glad you're OK and the truck did its job protecting you.

Seeing how well the Ranger survives a crash always makes me rethink selling it for a profit.

These are really good trucks.
