Been away from Rangers for a while. It was time. The day after I picked her up the mods have started. My dad actually bought one on the same day (lightning blue FX4).Removed the 265/65R17 Hankooks for some 6 ply 265/70R17 Cooper AT3’s. Installed lettering on tailgate and got some OEM step bars. Tomorrow is 1” traxda level, align on Monday at Work!

your dads wins.
he has the better color.
Haha! I agree! He actually drove to the dealer and picked up the Blue one to bring by my work for me to see (he’s retired and had nothing else to do) when he arrived he had that “if you don’t buy it, I will” look in his eyes. I knew he had already fell in love with it. I told him to go ahead and buy it. He was driving a 217k mile 2003 F-150. It fit his budget and was the perfect truck for him. I have a soft spot for black Rangers as my two favorite Rangers I built and owned were black.

Nice new truck Ben - maybe it’s just the photo but your driver side window trim by the B pillar looks a bit “wonky”.

Love your earlier Rangers too!

If your're talking about the rubber moulding it's been a known problem for sum, there's a thread on this somewhere. Seems like it pushes out and you have to keep pressing it back in. My passengers side does this but not as much as the one in his picture.

Hi Ben.

Some may say I'm biased, but I like your black truck better. :)

I also like your tailgate lettering. Can you tell me what brand and color, or do you have a link? I'm thinking about a dark gray like yours. Looks good.

Thanks Dave. I did a quick look at some of my pics and it seemed okay but now I’m heading out to the garage to make sure.

I should also check for a missing engine cover, sagging headliner, missing tie-downs, and all the other Ranger5g.com issues while I’m there. Be back in a couple hours.
